He said: "It's fair to say the club is a bit disappointed because this is a player Stoke City developed for 10 years and who has since gone on to prove himself in the Championship.
FFS why did we let him go then?????

Obviously a player that needed regular football to shine. 15 minutes here or there was never going to be enough to prove himself. We instead preferred Pericard and Sidibe who between them in the last 3 years haven't scored as many as Paterson has in the first 3rd of this season

Yeah, better for Patto he left us. Giving him something to prove this season. Shame for us though, but like said ... he wouldn't have started if Fuller was fit.
(doing us a favour as well today ... v ipswich)

The mind boggles as to why we didn't keep him and offload pericard, probably the same reason we got rid of Iwelumo, ...Pulis didn't sign him.

No mate, we are still entitled to compensation...

Isn't the compensation worked out pretty mechanically by reference to certain UEFA criteria, and not based subjectively on ability?
I'm sure we must already have received our compo - but it's all slipped by quietly.
Didn't someone say it'd be around £150-200,000?
