Although having his best game for a while yesterday he clearly isn't good enough to be in a midfield of a team pushing for the Premiership. The problem therefore is where the hell does he play?? TP clearly likes him and wants him in the team if only for his throw in threat. Right back ?? Wright is not the best and a clear injury waiting to happen, Should we slot him in there just for his throw ins. Salif and a annother in centre mid and he has to go. Think Quashie will come in Jan and then what for Rory ?? Left winger needed desperately to - with pace not defending qualities.

Pulis has got to play him at right back, I thought wright was the poorest player yesterday and ive never been impressed with him.
Speaking to Derby fans, Delap's best position is at right back and they cant believe were playing him at centre mid because of how crap his distribution is.
No matter what anyone says, his throw-ins are a real threat for us and with the height of our team we should be converting more of the chances these throws give us.

Delap is considered by Southampton fans as one of their worst players of recent decades. He played for them mostly @ RB.

delap IS a right back!!!
when pulis bought him here he said he would add extra quality in the full back position aswell as versatility in many midfield roles
he is a good tackler as we saw a few times yesterday and when he wants to he does have a good turn of pace for a big lad.stong aswell , would be a good right back imo

I don't know if he's any good at right back, but i'd rather at least give him a try there rather than the truely awful Wright.

id rather have ZAK at rb than delap or wright i think delaps gonna have to fight it out with pericard for a spot on the bench (now theres the problem pericard or delap)

i cant see pulis leaving him out of his starting eleven because of his long throw so right back it will be or right midfield with lawrence out on the left
