The European Championship in Handball for women starts today. The bronze game and final is on Sunday 15th December.
Sweden face the Northern parts of Macedonia tonight.

Our "veteran" players haven't won a single medal in a championship and therefore very eager to do so this time, even though they'll have a couple of more chances perhaps.
Last time in the Olympics they were 4th, again, after conceding a goal very late. Otherwise they would have played the Olympic Final! They have "always" been 4th.
The players are Bundsen (goalie), Roberts, Blohm and Hagman.
Of course noone else in the squad have won a medal either ... but they're younger.

After the Sweden Women Euro Qualification game in football ⚽ away at Serbia ended with a Swedish 2-0 victory just now, it's time for the start of the European Championship in Handball 🏐 in 5 mins.
Time to go to the kitchen.

I have realised England aren't in it, not Scotland, Wales, Ireland or N Ireland either.
Anyway, Sweden Women play Hungary tomorrow Saturday. A somewhat tougher game than the one vs N Macedonia.

Hungary won comfortably by 7 goals.
A disappointment among the viewers, players and coaching staff.
Instead of talking about revenge from the Olympics and the missed final game there, they now say we're not yet out of the tournament.
