Good for Simkin and Lipsuic but won't affect our squad. So 9 people missing club training and risking injury - ugh.
Moran and Cannon may be on lighter duties as in the full squad for Ireland not U-21s.
Interesting no Phillips in the Elite U20 - must be resting that shoulder and withdrawn as I think he was named initially?
Poor old Emre will be opting for Turkey with no call up again.
Hopefully Viktor qualifies Saturday and gets rested v the Azeris.
Similarly Manhoef's games being friendlies might mean less game time.

I thought that Esse from Millwall looked a really good young player when I saw him against us on Saturday. Certainly a name to watch out for.

Other than terrible challenge he did look a good player if totally one footed As with modern football he was playing on the wrong side so couldn't get a decent ball in

I suspect he went off with an injury on Saturday He did. He was holding his left shoulder and complaining as he sat down. Worrying as he has been the difference for us recently

Worrying as he has been the difference for us recently He’s a very good player. Solid and reliable and unlike the other 3 CBs at the club doesn’t appear to have a huge mistake in him. Hopefully it’s precautionary.

Hard to believe he’s only 19 with how composed he is, doesn’t even turn 20 until after this seasons finished. Definitely a regular premier league player in the near future

He is a very young player who will make big mistakes, as he did for Southampton's first goal, as part of his learning process.

So Cannon and Moran have basically had a rest, obviously trained with the squad but only a couple minutes game time I think for Cannon. Hopefully back with us Tuesday, raring to go?
JT might play some minutes tomorrow, but he’s done then too, as are Sidders and Dixon and Million.
Koumas (only getting a few mins) Viktor (rested as they’ve qualified?) and Bae (away in Jordan but playing Palestine) finish Tuesday.
Hopefully they are all in good shape when back. I can’t face losing to effing QPR again.
