Quick question on this. I read some really positive stuff on this after the first Connect meeting and there was a strong hint of it being rejuvenated, resurrected or resuscitated.
I think Malcolm even ended up on P&G but I've not seen anything else on it. Sorry if I've missed something.
Does anyone know the next steps/milestones or what will be on the horizon. I think we had a good level of engagement for it.

Unfortunately this got overtaken by myself going into hospital for heart surgery. What should have been a 5-10 day stay turned into a 38 day stay due to picking up an infection in hospital, and the recovery period from the operation is a few months. But I'm up and around again now, and have resumed going to games - although whether watching Stoke City is good for the heart is a moot point I will pick up the Supporters Club again - although I think it will now be in the new year before we have the planned re-launch meeting.

My son is waiting for similar Malcolm, so I have an idea of the experience. That's the trouble with going into hospital, you can finish up worse than you went in. You hear of lots of cases of infections, including the dreaded Sepsis. Lets hope that you are now on the road to recovery, & that good things are waiting for all of us with S.C.F.C.

Thanks for the good wishes. I don’t want to spam the thread with personal medical details but there is an amusing side to all this. My operation wound has still not fully healed and I’m going to wound clinic twice a week . It doesn’t hurt and there is no infection but it’s a bloody nuisance. Swab revealed that it was “colonised “ by a bacteria which the wound clinic nurse had never come across before en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Elizabethkingia_meningosepticaFrogs and fish but rarely in humans 🙄😂 You couldn’t make it up ! You are allowed to make frog jokes. Good news now - in the words of the clinic nurse “ you’ll be pleased to know the frogs have now left the house “ 😂 So hopefully it will now heal quite quickly. I think the main operation has been successful . I’m doing more than I was with no real problems. I’ll hop off now !
