We have turned a corner once we have finished a lot higher than we have been doing. That's like saying I'll tell you who's going to win this horse race after the winning post He's asking a question. If you don't want to answer then why comment? Don't sit on the fence, simple yes or no? He's saying no

I think we have an opportunity for a top half finish, which would be a successful season no doubt.
The squad in particular seems more resilient, much fitter, with a few real gems of quality and a drive to play at the top level.
I still think its very delicate though in all honesty, a bit of bad luck and a few bad games could derail it all.

Definitely starting to manoeuvre around the bend. Better fitness, Team togetherness, Settled team from more consistent team selections, Heads not dropping when we go behind/ better resilience Cannon firing Seko is a huge addition to team better home performances etc Seko is an absolute find. Seko is proving to be a great find which is a bonus as I don't think any of us thought we would see much of him given he wasn't even in the 1st team much at his old club.

However we are definitely turning a corner, how many times over the last 7 years have we seen us lose that game on Saturday 1-0.

It's like seeing the first tips of snowdrops through the soil, you know things could get better soon, but also there could be a couple of beasts from the east to come before they do.

He's definitely got me back to enjoying the game again. Mainly because he's making sensible decisions and doing the right things. I can't remember the last time we had a manager who played our best side every week. Even Pulis was infuriating for that.
Ultimately he's at the mercy of having to manage a pretty average bunch of players but I think he's doing a pretty good job. Hopefully he gets a bit of money in Jan.

Too many false dawns for me to go as far to say we've turned a corner.
I think it was this time last year we were on a similar 3 game winning run, ending with a superb win at Boro. Then we went 7 without a win.
What I will say is I think we look fitter, we're showing some character and there's some much needed togetherness on show. I've been impressed with Pelach overall (still some worries there) but the key now is to come back after the international break and picking up points.
7 games now until Christmas. QPR away Preston home Burnley home Sunderland away Luton away Cardiff home Sheffield Wednesday away
If we can win 3 or 4 in there I'll be pleased.

There are a couple of monsters lurking in the forests of Staffordshire who are out to get him. Just ask Badge about them 😈

I think we are in the process of turning that corner. It’s too early to say definitively we have done and equally too soon to say we never will. However, there’s signs of encouragement where we are seeming to try and be proactive in games. There seems to be a purpose and the players seem to have bought in.
A very basic way of exemplifying it would be how often on Saturday (and recent games) our players have been able to play one-touch into a space where they’re confident a teammate will be or will be attacking. Seko did it a few times on Saturday when he was 30+ yards out, he would quickly move it out wide to Bocat who was attacking down the left.
It sounds really simple, but that quick movement of the ball helped us keep the impetus high and cause problems. It’s been an Achilles heel for Stoke since Hughes’ era where we struggled to break teams down who were defending deep, and a lot of that was the tempo getting slowed because we were scanning for the pass to play rather than anticipating where to play it and getting it out quickly.

We have a young squad that on 90% of the players we're going turn a heafty profit, and that how you have to do it to get out the champ now.
Also when we go a goal behind i don't feel like the game is over which shows a big improvement imo

I think I'd have to have another couple of games. If we can beat QPR and Preston (or get 4 points) then I'd say definitely but it'd be so us to lose them both and end up back in 18th with a massive looking Burnley game. We have looked loads better, we just need to keep at that same level. I don't think we've had any massive dips in form like we had under SS, which is a positive.

Let’s not forget it’s a massive corner but I think we are halfway there. For me there seems to be a togetherness with everyone at the club. Look like we can score a goal or 2. Junho finding some form and finding seko.
The QPR and Preston games will tell us a lot as we have a bad record at QPR and my son told me yesterday that we haven’t beaten Preston in 7 attempts at home since relegation 😳. I couldn’t believe it.
In chicho we trust

Yes I think we have
Frustratingly very open, but the switch of that is we look likely to score and are creating chances, something missing for a long time Once he gets that starting 11-13 all back from injury we will be different again, and for the first time in ages I am excited to go to the game - its been shite for too long with safe, backwards, slow football - this side is young, energetic, pacey.
Equally could easily lose 3-0 as win 5! Prefer it to dull 0-0, 0-1, 1-0 binary football with 30,000 passes across the back.
I also like him and what he says, seems to understand the area/club, the players obvs like him a lot. Gooarrn.

Not yet for me - we've looked too open in a number of games so suspect we'll get a right hiding at some point. How we respond to that will probably be more of an indication of where we're at as fear is the wheels immediately fall off.

Viktor is already a club legend Considering some of the names that we've had in the #1 shirt through the years, it's way too soon to say that a goalie who's played 15 games is a club legend, the way Banksie et al were. He's done well, nothing more. He's eccentric and adds to the entertainment value. Let's see how he reacts when he drops a clanger or two, or when the defence in front of him collapses and we lose by 8 goals. Will he be able to pick himself up or will we be looking for a replacement...

Too early for me.
On the plus side
We have a keeper. The fact he's made a handful of absolute worldies is brilliant and has won us points, but just having someone who makes the 50/50 saves regularly is a massive boost. Said it elsewhere but had we had a championship level keeper in goal 40 games a year the last few seasons we'd not have been in trouble and may have looked a little differently on some of the players that have been and gone.
They seem a bit more relaxed now, it's really difficult to play out from the back when everyone is tight as a drum. That's been reflected in the home performances, and in turn the crowd hasn't immediately turned when it went against us v Derby, Bristol, Millwall. We've managed not to implode in the face of adversity in each of those games.
At home at least, feels like the manager is setting up to cause problems rather than prevent them.
On the down side
We are conceding a lot of chances.
Not a massive fan of the backs to the wall feel of the away set up.
Seko looks good but still nobody has really grabbed the middle of the park by the scruff of the neck.
Next 10 games is a 50/50 split of 5 winnable games and 5 very tough ones. If we're comfortably in midtable not looking nervously downwards on 1st Jan i'll say we've turned a corner. Still think we're in a position where if we get sucked in we don't have a great side for a relegation battle, but if we can get to a comfortable position we do have a team that could go on a run if it can look up and not down.

We would of lose that Millwall game last season ..
I just always have a feeling at home we can get back into games and the home form has vastly improved. Problem is we have 3/4 loads who are a big part of this team so makes it difficult every year but most teams have the same issue.

We’re getting by as a result of an outstanding goalkeeper at present. The xg against stats and the amount of shots we concede are frankly horrifying.

As a Stoke fan I am really happy that at last we have several positive points to talk about, instead of facing sustained discouragement, and even despair.
We are not necessarily dominating games as yet, but this is the Championship which is so competitive that you have to take what you can get.
Iam fascinated by some of our options and potential. Especially in areas where we have previously been lacking. We finally have a goalkeeper that we can trust, and someone who seems able to take the penalties. We have a good injection of skilled players and potential game changers, including Bae, Meinhoff and Seko. And we still have players to come in both to cover and give us more flexibiity and options in the squad, and I'm thinking of Lawal and Gallagher here, plus our crop of young academy graduates.
So lots to be cheerful about. And if you want to be silly we are a better team on current form than Manchester City, and you couldn't have said that this time last year. But of course football isn't just about stats, and I expect us to show good progress as a club, and start to create waves in the Championship very soon.
We're finally on the D road but so far have only got as far as the Sideway roundabout.

I’ll give him his due, I was fearful for him after that Sheff Utd game, but fair play, last week was a great week for us
Not convinced we are there yet and the amount of saves Viktor is having to make is a little concerning, but things are looking a little rosier
