Got up to Stoke early yesterday so we had time to go to both the fan zone and Ricardo’s pre match. Got to say Ricardo’s is a massive upgrade on what was there before and is now a really nice place to spend an hour before and even after the game.
The fanzone was ok too, it was way too loud when that girl was singing but otherwise it was good. Food options not so great except for the couple selling filled oatcakes tucked away in the corner. Why though do they insist on you showing a match ticket before they let you in? Who do they think is going to turn up and spoil the show for the match goers!

It's home fans only, so the match ticket/season card is the identifier. I guess the question might be: why home fans only? Don't other clubs allow a mix in their fan zones?

One thing I think they've overlooked is not having heaters in the covered area.
It was freezing after the game on Saturday and it's only going to get colder as the season goes on.
However, it was nice that my pint seemed to be colder the more I drank it 😂
