As we have quite limited options out wide, I think we would benefit for certain parts of games to Swap Manhoeff and Junho over. Especially when you see the ball Manhoeff puts in for Cannon in the first minute yesterday.

Heard a feature on Talksport about this the other day actually and they were saying clubs don't seem to change wingers anymore which is strange as always used to be done & invariably worked by mixing things up abit.
Remember TP always used to switch his wingers around, even if just for a small amount of time.

I think Koumas is wasted on the right.

I think Koumas is wasted on the right. He hasn’t looked good on either wing at all I don’t think

Makes sense I don’t know why we don’t do it as it would make us a little less predictable

If I was a manager I’d like my front three to keep rotating throughout the game, I don’t care how good a defender is he’s not going to contain three different players in one game who all have different playing styles.

The only balls in from wide positions are right and left back

He has swopped between the wing and the 10 role but I think Koumas should play off Cannon

He can turn on a sixpence but he needs to learn to pass sooner and work harder ofv the ball.

Agree re passing sooner and his work rate needs to improve with his decision making too

I can’t recall a game he’s played well there, he’s only looked good up front really. Still a dangerous player and well worth having but I’m surprised he was seen more as a winger when he came because he definitely looks more of a striker or just behind

Remember TP always used to switch his wingers around, even if just for a small amount of time. Think it's down to the fullbacks predominantly providing the width so you can't really swap them over. The forwards typically cut inside all the time these days so suppose if you swapped them over they'd be getting in the way of the full backs. I think old fashioned wingers getting to the byline and crossing it in for a unit will become fashionable again soon.
