Can't see him being out of work long. Coventry could regret jumping the gun a little to early.

Really surprised by that, will they attract better, I doubt it

I think they've pulled the trigger too early based on the fact they've had previous slow starts and then flying at the business end of the season. That said I work with a few Cov fans who aren't happy with the style of play for the players at his disposal.
Suppose it depends who they have lined up, they have arguably one of the most dynamic forward lines in the league......

You wouldn’t be surprised to see another team move quick to get him. Hull maybe?

Seems to have gone down like a lead balloon with Cov fans on ‘X, formerly Twitter’.

Seems short-sighted. But their fans were talking of top 2, and maybe the owner has got carried away. This league is always trench warfare.
Even last night, they restricted Derby to nothing, and their numbers attacking and defensively over the season are good. 5th best XG, 7th best XG against,
Always the danger of boredom when a manager has been in place so long, but they were still looking generally fine, and had battered Boro 3-0 away and come back from 2 down to beat Luton in the last week - and would have started to climb, you'd think

If we hadn’t won the last two games we would be clambering for him right now. Done a great job but can’t be good all the time.

Stupid decision to dump probably the best manager they’ve ever had when the season is so young and the table so tight. Only takes a couple of wins and they’d have been back near the top.

I think that’s a crazy decision given what he’s done for that club and the fact they often start slowly.
A great opportunity for whoever gets that job, though. Cov have a very strong squad.

Their SkyBluesTalk forum is not happy at all. Many upset that the guy who worked miracles under Sisu has been turfed out at the first downturn in results. Their owner is getting some stick.

Toss decision.
They’d only have to scrape two wins together and they’d be in the top 6 like 85% of the division currently.

Managers have a sell-by date. 7 years is plenty long enough at one club.

I had the game on my music stand during our Friday night is music night pre record last night at Ally Pally(definitely a massive bollocking if caught but fuck em !),turned round at the interval to see the timpani player from the London symphony orchestra (playing with us as a free lancer) watching the Derby Cov game…..id never met him before but he was a lovely bloke,he reckoned time was up for Robins,he remembered us beating them first game of the season.
