Great we won with a memorable goal keeping display
We could have lost by 4 or 5 and should have
We need a right back who can defend and a center back
The midfield before the substitution was lightweight
Hopefully the coach can see the problems having won 3 out of 10 games! with a great goalkeeper keeping the opposition out

What a totally negative spin on things...... you can win and be a little critical you know , without Victors heroics we could have easily lost that last night , great 3 points but don’t try gloss over the poor first half

What a totally negative spin on things...... Some people just can't help it. Most teams in the Championship are shit defensively, that's why the league is so tight because anyone can beat anyone.

You simply can’t expect your keeper to play like that every week. We concede far too many chances. A lot will be fixed by an extra man in midfield. We were rotten first half.

One of those saves picked one right out of the postage stamp. If the guy hits it again 10 times it’s likely he doesn’t get anywhere near. Couple of others were from range too, not certain goals by any stretch. In terms of absolutely clear cut chances I rate they had 5, we had 4. We definitely allowed too much time for them to hit from range but that’s a midfield issue rather than a defensive issue a lot of the time. What the back 4 really need more than anything is a run of games with the same two in the middle and minimal rotation at full back.

Most of Blackburn's 20 odd shots were long range and dealt with comfortably, Victor made 2 world class saves and 3/4 regulation ones that he did well to push away from danger. I'm glossing over nothing, Blackburn are a decent side and we put our bodies on the line defensively, ran more than we were running under the previous manager and earned our luck when it came.....

Millions two chances he didn't score from were better than any chance Blackburn had apart from the header they put over the bar. I have it at 4-2 on proper goal scoring chances to us.
Johannsson made some outrageous saves but one was from a long ranger so can't count that as a big chance

And of course 3 wins in 10 sounds far more negative than 12 points from the last 7 league games and 1 defeat, which replicated over 46 games would give us 78 points. There was even a small percentage of clowns booing at half time yesterday, 0-0 away to a team with the joint best home league record at the time. Thankfully the new coach seems to ooze positivity, hopefully it will rub off on some of the fans.....

We are frail defensively but this comes from having 2 in midfield where we are getting overrun and conceding far too many shots on goal.
My other worry is the amount of aerial duels we don’t win due to us being a rather small team. It’s going to be tough going up against Millwall at the weekend.

We won the game 2-0! I think I saw two clear cut chances for Blackburn. They did not take their chances. We managed to create an equal amount. It's not match of the day. We don't need your analysis! Thank goodness that we are having a few breaks. Every team need that. We signed Johansen in the transfer market and we got him. Now you criticise for him doing what he is paid to do????

We certainly look better when Seko is in the team, he seems like a good organiser of players around him and is able to find space to receive the ball. I noticed Burger hiding a few times first half, when he could have moved into space to receive the ball. Seko for me has to start Saturday.

I genuinely don’t think we are too bad defensively - our complete lack of a midfield means that teams can press at will and put us on the back foot for prolonged periods. We desperately need a decent DM to do a solid shielding job and we’ll be fine.

Also had they scored some of those chances, people would be moaning at Johansson saying he should have saved it. Just can't win. Thought we had the better chances to score, the one they should have buried, they missed the target (headed it into the ground and over)

Keepers great
Defence I can cope with until we can improve on full backs at least but they put the effort in so fair play
Forwards I think we can look a threat going forward which would be even better when we dominate games more
It’s the midfield for me. Keep getting caught in possession then they’re running at our defence exposed. Lightweight which will hopefully soon be put right. Passing needs to improve.
