I expect us to get stronger and better as the season progresses. We still feel a bit incomplete to me. Injured players to come back and a transfer window coming up…who knows?

Yep, could absolutely go anywhere this season. We have to hope for some luck, players staying injury free, youthful exuberance and the old-timers getting drawn along with it. Keep the momentum going, learn lessons quickly along the way. Any match is winnable or loseable. Crazy but maybe our best opportunity for years. GOARRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRN Nacho GOARRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRN STOKE!

People often moan about the quality of the league but find me a more competetive second tier anywhere else in world football.
Is it weak compared to the Premier League? Yes of course it is as are many other leagues, but to think its a weak league, quite the opposite to be honest, unless your expectations of football are ridiculously high.
There are to many teams who seem to blow hot and cold and as ever consistency is key. Get yourself a goalscorer and you've half a chance of getting out of the league.

Tinpot league with a bunch of equally shit teams As a competition it's way better than the Premier League and while the quality of football is nowhere near the very top teams it's decent. And no VAR. This " tin pot" league crap is just ex-Prem arrogant nonsense. Until we with that attitude we are going nowhere. If you don't take this league seriously it will eat you up.

Any slight bit of consistency or even a good run of 10/15 games and you can make the play offs in this league

I really don't think there is a second tier league in the world with so much money involved as in the Championship.

It’s still early yet. The gaps will widen as the season goes on and teams will find their level. The busy Christmas period and new year to come.

I've actually thought a lot of our opponents - although I've still rarely heard of any of their players - looked better this year. This may be because we are making them look good as they slice through the middle, ping it out to our empty FB spaces etc, but I have to say our games have mostly not been garbage to watch, when most years they have. Millwall might change that perception. I am really hopeful we can turn a corner under Narcis, and there are definitely a few green shoots sprouting up. Above all he seems to be getting us points despite us conceding lots of shots and possession. Presumably our passing will improve as time goes on and we might concede less in both regards. Even if it doesn't, and we don't, but still pick up points I'll learn to love the new tactics
