It’s hurting our corporate hospitality sales for sure. Hard to sell three course meals at 10:30/11 in the morning. To be fair the breakfast they put on for these early kick offs is banging.

I’ve said it before ….. how league chairmen have agreed to this sh** is scandalous, generations of families would have had 3 pm (or 3:15 when we were at the Victoria Ground) cemented into their once-a-fortnight family ritual. But as we know, working class habits mean absolutely nowt when there are twats out to make as much money as possible, yes Sky TV profits will be up but at what human cost? The whole thing stinks - Stoke will have been offered a few crumbs as part of the deal and we’re all just supposed to take it in the chin and adapt, I’d write a letter of complaint to SCFC but as I know no-one else will bother then I conna be bothered either …… enjoy yer weird KO times guys!! Generations of supporters have been screwed over by their boards since the year dot. Once there was more money to be made from tv than matchdays this kind of agreement was inevitable.

Our away games at Sunderland and Sheff Wed in December are also 12-30 kick offs as is the Plymouth home game on Jan 4th Plymouth to Stoke for midday is a total ball ache for the away fans. 185 miles from Stoke to Sunderland, 240 miles for Plymouth fans to us. A 480 mile, eight hour round trip. Brutal.

Tin hat on but I actually didn't mind the 12:30 KO last week. Had a decent breakfast in the 1863 lounge and got back home at a responsible time! Yeah, I weirdly didn't find last week that bad, didn't feel like 12.30 game. Maybe because it was a full Derby end. I expect Millwall's 12 fans will certainly make it feel a lot less lively and more like an early KO.
