Watching the Northampton v Kettering FA cup match and they kept saying that the player of the match was ..... It was an all men's game so why didn't they say man of the match? Is this something that is now the norm if so when did it change? Gouranga.  |

The bbc football page is an annoyance to use. I have nothing against women’s sport (in fact I avidly follow some) but just 0 interest in women’s football, but great interest in the entire EFL, and yet women’s football is given higher priority on there than much of the professional domestic game.
Anyone got a reasonable alternative site that hasn’t merged women’s football?

The bbc football page is an annoyance to use. I have nothing against women’s sport (in fact I avidly follow some) but just 0 interest in women’s football, but great interest in the entire EFL, and yet women’s football is given higher priority on there than much of the professional domestic game. Anyone got a reasonable alternative site that hasn’t merged women’s football? The BBC could quite easily make a non-hierarchical user interface enabling users can easily locate and choose what they want to read. But they don't. Their football menu system and title page is rubbish. |

The BBC used to have good content, nowaways they consider a tweet as news; and far too much of the site is regurgitated content from social media. The amount of space given to that nonsense player rater irritates me as well, it's something I just have to scroll past on the mobile version. I've been lazy to find an alternative though but it's probably time to do so.

Much more butch and befitting of the best. |
