Started the season very well but since the sacking of Schumacher his performances have become piss poor. Hopefully it's jusy a change of system.
Form is temporary, class is permanent

How long before he becomes the latest Boo Boy?

His inconsistency is why he’s here and not in the Premiership.
He’s one of if not our best player.

A great player but unfortunately he’s not seeing the pass when it’s clearly on. He can hold the ball well, take people on and protect the ball. His decision making for passing needs to improve so he can be a better player. It’s the basics tbh he needs to improve on. We’ve been blessed with Shaqiri in the past which is who I compare him.

He's a brilliant player that often gets marked out of the game. Arguably our best players who doesn't deserve criticism

Needs to go on the outside more to add a bit of variety to his play. He had acres of space to run into down the wing and just didn’t do it. He ran inside and lost it every time.

He’s not quite at it, but works hard and still has goals and assists in him. I wouldn’t be ‘dropping’ him as such, but bench in midweek might not be the worst thing long term.
Very important player, no need to go OTT because he’s gone a little off the boil. He’s already won us at least 4 points with his goals out of nothing this season.

At times it seems he gets frustrated that team mates just aren’t closer for him to use for touch and go’s. He does need to release earlier however, few too many hazy runs that end up seeming aimless. Still a toe tingler though - each time he gets on it there’s a goal threat

I see some people still just want grafters and nothing else, so frustrating. Koumas works hard but burns himself out too quickly.

Manhoef has a background in Martial arts, & says that when he retires (early) from football, he wants to be a boxer. So he has the mind-set of an athlete who relies on himself. With this in mind, I watch him & think that he is very set on playing to his own advantage. He's mean with the ball, & shoots without looking for someone in a better position. So, he's an individual & not a team player. It shows in his play.

Even Pelach has mentioned he is disappointed that he doesn't look for the assist.

We’re a long way from having the likes of him on our books again. MM has potential but he’s nowhere near.

Teams have done their homework on him these days. He always wants to cut inside on his left peg - needs to develop another option if he's to remain effective. Too easy to predict and neutralise otherwise. Switch him to play on the right for part of the game, give the opposing defence a bit more to think about

He plays on the right. Not sure he is suited to switching.

Another level altogether but you can see how Robertson and TAA help Liverpool in that respect. I really like Manhoef and he's possibly the only player we have who can pull something out of nothing to win you the game, that's massive. He's going have games where he could have made better decisions or played better and then others where as said he's the game winner. He will hopefully learn and get better, he's still only 22!
