Just didn’t think Moran was on it today and despite dominating most of the game we didn’t create that much. He was surprised to be given sky motm. I don't think he had a bad game but nowhere near motm Have I lost the plot? He was motm wasn't he? Lol. Can't remember already

Johansson 7 Undoubtedly Gibson's fault Junior 7 Better today Philips 7 So far the most promising of the loanees (except for Koumas) Gibson 4 If I were 'manager' (in the three days I'd get before being fired!) I'd replace him with Dixon. I know he's 'only 17' but so is Cubarsi, and he's playing against the likes of Mbappe, rather than the useless Yates. Captaincy should go to Burger, or maybe Wilmott. Stevens 7 Such a shame he's not younger. I guess he thinks the same. Seko 7 People are going a bit overboard, but he was good today Burger8 MOM. Getting back to his best. Some lovely passes, hard work and always encouraging teammates. Moran 6 A bit quiet Manhoef 6 Some flashes, but not the same player who substituted in last Tuesday. Junho 7 Got better the longer it went on. Cannon 6 Better, but not convinced at all. Subs Koumas 7 How do you know it was Gibson's fault, did you hear the keeper call. Gibson did what would be expected, and attempted to play back to the keeper. Unfortunately, the keeper went walk about.

Cannon an 8 for me. Ran his nads off second half and some superb runs throughout the match not found.
Loved the match, emotions totally contrasting with the Bristol City game.

Viktor 7 our best keeper since ‘good’ Butland Junior 6 his best game this season game Gibson 6 scored winner to make up for earlier blunder Phillips 8 should be first choice CB Stevens 7 one of his best games Burger 7 bloody good for 70 minutes because he held his position Manhoef 4 poorest performance since his debut Seko 9 his extra mobility allowed Burger and. Moran to play their own roles properly Jun Ho 7 when he sorts his final ball/ shooting he’ll be playing in the prem Moran 8 bloody good player Cannon 8 his best game by far
Koumas 7
We have players good enough to challenge the play offs; is our coaching good enough? Time will tell

I thought all our players did well but what strikes me is that Derby were ahead of us on points.
Clearly we were the better team and dare I say we are in a false position.

First time this season for me to see them on a large screen, 55" or something at my mate. It's funny how people see players differently. He thought Tchamadeu was the first one to sell, he was my MoM.
Better defence players in this game compared to in the cup game vs The Saints. However, they need to improve their first touch in general, especially the midfielders and Million. At the moment defender Tchamadeu is one of the players who is comfortable with the ball.
Viktor 6 - why so far too the left in the penalty box? What was he doing there? Should have stayed in the middle of the goal. A great low save though in his typical style once. Tchamadeu 8 - MoM. One of my favourite players in the team again. A couple of mistakes, but most things right. Gibson 7 - so much better than the defenders midweek. Philips 7 - so much better than the defenders midweek. Edna 4 - not his greatest game. Burger 7 - positive. Encouragement given to his teammates. Seko 7 - a footballer. Had it tough out there with the physical attacks at him. Million 6 - maybe a tiny step down from the last game. Play it faster sometimes pls! Jun-Ho Bae 7 - a bit like Seko. Many opponents kicking him today. Moran 4 - The midfield had it tough out there. Cannon 6 - not too bad.
Subs Koumas 8 - together with Tchamadeu best in the team. Tried and ran and really wanted something. Bocat 3 - a mistake to play him Vidigal 5 - a way back left to go

Not sure on your 8 for Viktor and 6 for Gibson. How can he be 8 when directly responsible for the goal? I think 6 or 7 for both. Same with Million, at best a 6 from me I'm not sure he was, directly responsible, for the goal. It was either a miscommunication, or Gibson getting too much on the header. It was quite a thump he gave it. Most definitely was his fault. Exactly what was he doing there?i have to admit at the ground I blamex Gibson but having seen it in the highlights clip there was no reason for Victor to be where he was. There were no Derby players around and it was so obvious that Gibson would head it back to him. This is another example of people blaming the current boo boy and absolving the popular player.

Johansson 5 - why did he come for the ball for the og? Junior 6 - was ok, does a lot of pointing at players he should be marking and inevitably isn’t though Philips 7 - really good and composed Gibson 3 - the opposite Stevens 7 - he’s just good isn’t he Seko 8 - MOM Burger 6 - was ok Moran 5 - thought he was a fine, a tad awol Manhoef 3 - crap Junho 4 - not much better Cannon 6 - worked hard and good run for the goal. Johansson Let’s be honest he was expecting Gibson to fuck it up which he usually does

Gibson and Philips were better than Rose and Dixon.

Johansson Let’s be honest he was expecting Gibson to fuck it up which he usually does Maybe but had no right coming for that. Just like Gibson should have just been heading it back the way it came. What, towards the oncoming Derby players on that side surrendering possession. Gibson's mistake was in not checking where the gk was but a lot of passes players make are to where they think players should be from the work they have done on the training field. You could see his shock from his question to Johannson, "Where had you gone?"

You don’t pass the ball back between the posts. Basic basic shit.

You don’t pass the ball back between the posts. Basic basic shit. So explain to me what Johansson thought he was doing off his line to the left of his goal. 99%of the time a cushioned header like that back to the gk is on target. There was zero pressure from Derby's right in that instance so I still can't work out what he was doing there. If he wanted to take the cross, which is the only explanation I can think of, why not communicate that to your centre half? Johansson was serving no useful purpose positioned where he was. Yes a lot of clearances go back to where they came from but that is because the defender is under pressure from players in the box but there was absolutely no one putting pressure on so why hand the ball back to Derby to try again? I am pretty certain Gibson did what his coaches expected in that situation.

He didn’t look and that’s just thick and lazy. And then he put it on target which is just stupid. Gibson made a mistake under no pressure like you’ve said. He picked the wrong choice. And then when he did that executed it in a way you teach 5 year olds not to.
