I'm agreeing with you, play them Just that they will need taking out of the side here and there 70 minutes for Sol was probably about right I'd start him v Derby Maybe not v Blackburn and back in v Millwall Something like that Phillips is older he looks fine to play back to back games |

On a serious point, my understanding of the Sporting Director role is that although they don't pick the team, they should be ensuring that there is a pathway for the young players and regular first team opportunities. It's driven Sunderland supporters mad for the last few years, but now looks to be coming good.
