It featured a young woman from Stoke doing a PHD "researching the experiences of marginalised football fans" She will have plenty of subject material in her home town!

Odd subject to study. 14 questions right last night. Think that's a PB for me. Well, I did my PhD on the death of multilateralism in the context of European and German foreign policy. So I guess research into the experiences of marginalised football fans doesn't seem so niche to me.

Last nights questions worked well for me too, but I've noticed in previous series the further towards the final it appears to get much harder. The maths and science questions get so detailed and technical I often don't understand the question let alone know the answer. I just say "2" for the maths questions, and get the odd one correct by the laws of probability
