I wonder where they'd be if they'd kept hold of Moyes or Mourinho. Probably better off.
ten Haag won a couple of trophies, which was more than anyone else in a few years.

I have a Utd supporter mate at work and we have chats all the time about Stoke and Utd. It’s amazing the comparisons we draw between the 2 teams. Think the only difference is Utd are allowed to spend the money to get out of / stay stray in the mess they’re in even though they have been spending the last couplr of seasons they too had their hands tied, not by regulations, but their own american owners

I'd love to see the meltdown from their fans if they announce Southgate alongside the wankfest from the media because Sir Gareth can do no wrong in their eyes. It would only make the Utd faithful even more pissed off.
We can but dream.

NO, No, No, we do not need a useless Dutchman, but I do think we need a new defence (excepting our goalies).

He must be sick. If he'd just waited.. Apparently he was approached in the summer about the job and turned it down owing to the reporting structure at man utd. He wanted free reign on signings and strategy or summat.. What I heard somewhere anyways...

I would doubt anyone at Utd would want him back.

It really isn’t just us.
Sometimes things spiral. A combination of bad luck and terrible decisions just leaves you in free fall.
It doesn’t make it any less depressing but I guess it’s just football.

Hes delivered them 2 trophys in 2 seasons so he hasnt bern the worst pick for them
Should have gone in the summer though as the signs were clearly there last season
Seems a decent fella, sure he’ll get a good gig back in Holland

Wonder if they would consider an exciting, young and upcoming Spanish manager?
Would love it if they would take Narcis off our hands. JW is a great DoF too!

I don't think it matters too much who they bring in, they're a long way off the likes of Man City and Liverpool and nobody is sorting that mess out quickly. Their struggle will go on for a few years yet.

Think Frank is the best one for them right now but personally think he should stay at Brentford. Man you England's version of the Dallas Cowboys!

Highly rated up and coming manager but surely Unai Emery would be the best choice they could make?

This sounds daft, but they’re just a bigger version of us. But not quite as bad. Lurch from style to style. Poor recruitment. Managers falling out with players. Full new behind the scenes staff.

Highly rated up and coming manager but surely Unai Emery would be the best choice they could make? His release clause would be huge compared to Amorim, and Emery is managing a Champions League team that he is still in the middle of developing. If he leaves them for United, it’s purely for money and you’d have to question his ambition.

Interesting was linked with some big clubs but never got the job though got to ask why though 🤔 Only saw him linked to the Bin Dippers, and in the end I think they just preferred Slot. The other club was West Ham. He probably rejected them knowing a big job like United would soon be available.

Sad day, one of the few things left in football giving me joy was watching their demise. Don’t be to too quick to feel sad. I think your joy is far from finished. Changing managers over the last 6 or 7 years hasn’t done much but continue that demise. We can talk!

I've said this to my 2 sons for a while now. We're almost carbon copies of each other as clubs. Apart from the Glaser's, what's happened to us has happened to them. They're on a downward spiral, the same as us. Whatever we try to do to get it right, it just gets worse.
