Finishing bottom of the Championship a few seasons running doesn't make a club rotten, it's just hysterical nonsense. The board royally fucked up by appointing Gary Rowett and giving him full autonomy to piss Ā£50 odd million up the wall on overpriced dross, we're still paying the price for it.Ā Ā There are many other clubs stuck in a rut and trying all manner of things to try and get out of it, we're just one of them...... š¤£š¤£š¤£deluded head in the sand bollocks. Yeah I should keep repeating how rotten and toxic things are on a message board, that will show āem!

If we went down to League One there's no telling we'd come back up, I mean we could just do what were doing at the turn of the millennium and lose play-offs. Birmingham have spent heavily to be where they are.
And the fanbase would be angry if we started losing games to Northampton, Bristol Rovers, Wycombe, etc.

If the owners can't spend their money we'll, there is absolutely no point in them being here.

Beginning to look like relegation and throwing millions at promotion a la Brum might be the way to go. Obviously though, it being Stoke: A) financial rules would be changed to make it illegal to spend excessively. And/Or B) the Coates family would sell up and weād be taken over by a dodgy consortium with big promises and no cash Weāre fucked arenāt we?

And/Or B) the Coates family would sell up and weād be taken over by a dodgy consortium with big promises and no cash Weāre fucked arenāt we? Short term pain for hopefully longer term gain. I think even we would struggle to mess up league one with the financial advantage we would have(although if one club could it would be us!!). We are stuck in the Bermuda Triangle currently and itās mind numbing. If nothings going to change at the top and the rules on spending donāt change while in the championship it may be best to take one step back and two forward. Our crowds have held up well even after 7 years of dross. After the frustration of relegation we would hopefully do what Birmingham are doing(getting sell out home games) happy winning most weeks. The crowds would come back and then come back into the championship with renewed positivity and better players from our spending spree in league one.
