I wouldn’t mind it if some of the dickheadery was aimed at the opporsition rather than our own players at times

I've never seen any Stoke fan join into protect a supporter of another side from being attacked by Stoke fans I had to grab a kid(15) ish Bolton fan who was surrounded by about 10 Stoke fans at Wembley. They were just about to kill him. Not sure kidnapping and keeping him in your basement for 14 years was necessarily a better outcome for him, mind you.

I'd like to ask one of the four or five mid 20 year old Stoke fans who assaulted an 18 year old-ish Derby fan (no colours) for no reason whatsoever near the incinerator an hour or so after kick off how shit your life must be to do such a thing. One of the Stoke fans was in a sling. If you're reading this.. you're an absolute cunt, as are your so called 'mates' The lad in question was fine thankfully. Why was there a Derby fan and four or five Stoke fans by the incinerator an hour after kick off Dropping off some garden rubbish.

Good to know that Dave showed some sense there and avoided getting pounded himself. I'm in that boat, too many fights at hockey matches in my past - something would've fallen off me. But also, isn't it good to know that there's people out there like Milton who (had he been there) would have jumped in and regulated the situation? Takes both kinds and I'm not being facetious. I've never seen any Stoke fan join into protect a supporter of another side from being attacked by Stoke fans I did it once. Outside Woolworths in Stoke. Sometime in the 80's. Stoke v B'ham. Got on a bus in Hanley where I heard what I can only describe as a hooligan team-talk "you will know who they are.. just get into them etc". As soon as they got off the bus outside Woolworths they just flew into random Bham fans (at least I think they were) just minding their own business. One guy had 4 on him and then 2 ran off to get involved elsewhere. I had just got off the bus and saw the other two so I got involved. Didn't do much. Just shoved one of the lads off and then they both ran off to, no doubt, join their mates and find some other people to beat up. The Bham guy was alright. Bloody nose and a bit dazed but that was it.

Problem is now it's not just at football...it's part of everyday life shit like this goes on and I've seen people get involved to stop it..I've done it myself tbh.why because I'd like to think if it was one of my family or close friends in that situation someone would step in to help them out...

Recall leaving Old Trafford many years ago, about five of us were making our way to a pub after the game, one of lads with us was inexplicably attacked by a single lad in a group walking towards us, turned out they were stoke fans, they apologised once they knew we were Stoke fans, unknowingly the lad that was cowardly sucker punched doesn’t mess around and flawed the lad who’d punched him. His mates stepped back and told the dick head with them he deserved it, which is fair imo.

We went into the fans zone for a pint after the game before walking into Stoke. When we got over the canal bridge there was a group of derby fans walking towards us, heading back towards the ground which I thought was strange.
Once we got near the tip entrance there was a group of lads who were derby fans pointing in different directions & shouting at each other. It was probably about an hour after the game had finished so thought it was strange but never saw no trouble.

Oh FFS here we go. My comment was more about wider society, and standards. But as you’re here now I’ll exit stage left. And I think that’s bollocks. From the 'King' of talking bollocks, that's some accolade. Have you hit your daily quota of utter shite today?

Noticed plenty of young Derby fans heading over the bridge towards the incinerator after the game. Not that they were doing anything to particularly bother me, but did say to my dad I can see someone ended up with a slap here. You’d just think they’d have the awareness to be a bit less gobby walking amongst home supporters

Haha, kidnap him, I dragged him away from the Stokies, only avoiding a beating off of them because they were confused about who I was. 5 '6"tough guy weighing 9 stone being so brave and not wearing any colours. Then once the kid was safe he started trying to fight me aswell. Luckily a group of Bolton lads walked past and I passed him off. Moral / keep your nose out.

Some of the thickest fans are at this club, for sure!! Every club has them mate. It's not a problem specific to our club. True....but to say things like that to a ex player.... you've got to be the thickest of the thick

Maybe he was looking for it and I should have left him to it? BM

Did anyone go to the Fernhurst before the game last night?
Some of the Stoke fans in there were embarrassing… I was stood in the queue along with other stokies when I heard a bloke at the front shouting at the lady behind the bar whilst waving his card. He then started to pick the pints up off the bar which she had told him numerous times that they were not his pints. You could see everyone behind him staring him out as to say stop being a clown.
Once he eventually buggered off 3 lads started to order some food. They then ordered a pint & asked how much it was in total. The lady told them the total which one replied that he hasn’t got enough money to cover it. They then had a long discussion about how they needed another 3 pints but all 3 had only got enough money left to get themselves to work & back for the rest of the week.
Whilst this way going on the rest of the stokies waiting to be served including myself were all looking at each other wondering what the hell we were witnessing.
I’m all for going to support your team if you can afford but come on lads, there is menus there for a reason. If you’re that short on cash then it only takes basic maths to total it up before going to the till to order. The poor last behind the bar looked like she was ready to top herself.

Nothing to do with football, we live in a lawless society now, there are no police, no prisons, no deterrent so people just do what they want 😡

No, we always go to the Oakenhurst Farm just off the roundabout at J4 for that exact reason, last couple of times in the Fernhurst it was full of arseholes.......
