People calling for a return to ID cards give your heads a wobble. But don't do it while taking your passport photo to be used on your new ID card. ID cards (ridiculously branded as “True Supporters Cards” ffs) were brought in as a response to extreme organised hooliganism. They were incredibly divisive and decimated our away followings for years. Many law abiding supporters refused on principle. They served a purpose at the time but there is no need to inflict punitive measures on our entire support again in response to what’s being described in this thread. It’s a creepy fucking suggestion. |

Some of the thickest fans are at this club, for sure!! I'm not sure why it's only generalised to football. Whilst this is a football forum, many forget that football is used as a vehicle for violence. People join in who aren't even football fans. These people are just terrible human beings, irrelevant of whether they attend football or not. There's not much you can do except police things i.e. I.d cards, but no one liked that. I will repeat again, without video and audio evidence there is nothing that the club can do legally with only heresy evidence. So if you recorded the people and have videos, great, report their illegal offences to the police and/or club. If not then it's really best not to share your ideas of character assasination without evidence. |
