We are just a bottom half Championship side.
Fun to watch sometimes but mostly either crap or frustrating.

In fairness we’ve made that position our own since relegation. Some going

Tonight was a real wake up call for me, we are very very average and there is no way we finish mid table this season, barring the injured players transforming us.

Id be surprised if we get to lower mid table.
We’ve had a relatively less difficult start to our fixtures and we have 3 wins from 11.
Given there isn’t it seems 2 or 3 really poor teams, I’m definitely worried about relegation.

I would be thrilled to accept any fact other than relegation - and have felt that way since before a ball was kicked this season.

In fairness, being a bottom half Championship side that is sometimes fun to watch is progress.

We look very weak in midfield in my opinion, but still we have played four in a row without defeat now.

This is what happens when you get average manager churn - really hard to build a side with any real identity.
I'm still hoping Pelach turns into the pragmatist we need to give some stability... signs had looked promising, but the tempo we tried to play tonight (as an "unfit" team) felt pure suicidal.
A phrase I have found myself saying a lot in recent seasons.... we are a very naive team.

Huge mistake getting rid of Schuey. If it wasn’t for Johansson we would be bottom three.

It’ll be another rebuild in the summer once the loan players go back, we certainly are a basket case of a club but now with a scouser talking utter shite.

At least we’ve got a few different players capable of scoring this year which wasn’t really the case last season. I think we have enough to stay up and it might be a bit more entertaining than in recent years.
Know that’s clutching at straws but we’ve been a poor Championship side for a long time now and doesn’t look like it is going to change any time soon.

We are just a bottom half Championship side. Fun to watch sometimes but mostly either crap or frustrating. I think we are worse than that and I don't see how we can stay afloat without tactical changes.

We are just a bottom half Championship side. Fun to watch sometimes but mostly either crap or frustrating. Apart from a few purple patches, we've been the same since 1888. It's not the winning, it's slagging off the manager that counts !

Everything points to a Summer where we appoint another average manager and “re-build” number 46. When the clubs values and ethos are STILL undetermined and undefined it is all pointless. What qualities and metrics are DEMANDED of SCFC Staff in general? When I see Leeds play I know there are stringent unequivocal demands imposed on those players. It really matters to them. It is Obvious. When I see Stoke players I question whether most of them even turn up to Training.

Until we get a decent DM in the side and Gallagher back we will continue to struggle.
We really need Lawal in very soon.

About time we were flushed down the shit pipe of the Championship and wind up in L1. Only QPR, Pompy and come season end hopefully Argle will save us from that, but honestly we deserve it. FUCKING SHIT SHOW.

You’ve only got to look at the crowds on Saturday and tonight to conclude that most people feel that way.
Another season squandered.

It's the lack of any plausible plan to be anything other than a bottom half side that is so utterly depressing.
The squad looks and staff look no closer now to breaking into the top 10 than it has since Rowett was sacked 6 years ago.
So depressing.

What really worries me is the lack of atmosphere and noise in the stadium. Obviously the team and performances are a lot to blame but it seems as though the enthusiasm has been sucked out of us. Tonight was one of the weirdest vibes I've seen at the Brit. Acceptance...

Yeah unless we either get some gems in January or the injured players come back, stay fit and have a big impact. We're in a season long relegation battle. Bottom half mid table will be a good result at the moment.

Accepted it a while ago...
But Stoke learn game management and how to see a game out.
That way we the inexperience showed
Also the mentality of the club has to change an all!

Agrrecsaid ladt eeek I can’t see 25 points by the turn of the year and if not we are in a survival battle todays team loses such a battle do we really need either Lawson and Gallagher in the team or new blood in January to win that battle , even before the possibility of losing cannon

Not ideal of course but maybe our only option. Bae has completely lost his way in my opinion and needs resting. Soon the choice will be to play either Millions or Koumas. Steel in midfield required.

This Honestly I’ve wanted Keane in as manager as I see nobody with any kind of demanding nature at the club. Granted off the pitch we’ve come a hell of a long way, and Simon King it seems is holding his own and I’ve seen substantial change. The sporting side however seems a long way off.
