In December Saudi Arabia will be confirmed hosts for 2034. That will be the point for Uefa and Conmebol to break away. The battle will be for the heart of concacaf. Eh? What conspiracy theory are you talking about there Joe? There's been clandestine talks for ages. FIFA seem to have been encouraging it with their actions Africa will stay with fifa. Asia will be conflicted. But a host confederation splitting in the build up to hosting a world cup would be gloriously chaotic. Concacaf is the power base they'd need to gain true credibility. |

They are MLS champions so they simply haven't They aren't MLS champions. They have finished the "regular season" with the most points. They might ultimately end up as champions but I'm sure FIFA are falling over themselves to use this criteria to put them in rather than waiting to see who become champions. I thought Columbus Crew were the current MLS champions? I think you're right. They are the current champions from last season. I imagine it Miami were the current champions FIFA would have used that criteria to include them! |
