I don’t think it should be a penalty but they always usually are hence why he should do it. Cannon kicked him though for sure and it should be a foul against but it never is and it’s good to see our players doing it. It's penalty because it's a foul, keeper plays the man not the ball Spot on and the keepers reaction says it all, none whatsoever

Even if it was £3 million we had to pay for him, we certainly couldn't afford that under FFP.

We've been linked with a £3m move today for a player If Cannon is signed up here or elsewhere in January it will probably be a loan with compulsory purchase next summer, that way his fee goes against next year's FFP

It's penalty because it's a foul, keeper plays the man not the ball Cannon kicks him. The keeper stops and Cannon initiates the contact. Again I have no issue with this cheating. Bar his 4 goals it’s about the best thing he’s done for us.

For anyone who's interested in having their mind changed and isn't so stubborn that they refuse to listen to someone else's point of view, watch the extended highlights and at 1.59 you can CLEARLY see Cannon plants his right foot near the keeper who then grabs his right ankle with his right hand. He definitely DOES NOT kick the keeper. his foot was planted. After the contact he does flick his foot in the air and go down theatrically but it was still a penalty. That is all.

We need to dive more for this very reason. It was excellent play from him. It would help if the team gave him more opportunities to dive/win penalties tbh, it’s rare anyone spots one of his runs and plays the right pass. He can finish I’ve no doubt and he’s always making the runs. He would score an absolute hatful in a decent side. Over to Narcis on this one

Leicester fans thought he was similar to Nugent during the limited times he played for them last season.

Joint third top scorer, I know four came in one game and a few have been pens - but honestly don't care. Sign him up, nice to actually be able to watch us take a penalty without already knowing we've missed it

Nice to have someone who can take a pen, even after that dreadful one in the cup. His 3 in the league have all been unstoppable

Can’t remember the last time I felt confident seeing one of ours step up to take it.

The keepers seem to go the right way but he just seems to hit them with so much pace.

He can certainly finish that's for sure. He's not as quick as I expected, but so far his goal return does his talking.. thought he generally looked sluggish at times tonight..

On current form, he will hit 20-25 goals over a season. Do you really look at him and have that feeling? No neither do I, but the stats are facts. Get him singed up!

He’s a player that you won’t see for most of the game, that’s what he is, he’s a centre forward. He can finish though

He does really have a good finish on him and cant argue with his number of goals this season.
But most of the game hes basically a passenger. He does make runs that give space to other players. But cant he get himself involved a bit more??

But cant he get himself involved a bit more?? Well if he did he wouldn't be on loan here, he would be at Leicester, and they would be fighting off clubs ready to buy him.

I genuinely think in a two he'd be unplayable. The game against Pompey (aware that they're very bad), he looked flawless. I think the key to getting him involved is to let him do what he does best whilst there's another distraction / somebody to hold the ball up there with him

The keepers seem to go the right way but he just seems to hit them with so much pace. And accuracy... When a penalty is hit into the side netting, would take a world class save to keep it out

But cant he get himself involved a bit more?? Haaland is a passenger for most of games as well in fairness, if he keeps scoring it’s fine. It’s when the goals dry up that it becomes an issue, at the moment he’s doing well.

Knows how to finish. We’ll only see the best of him when Gallagher comes back though.

One for the stato’s. Who was the last player we had that scored 10 before Xmas? Fuller in the 07/08 promotion season. He scored a hat trick against West Brom on the 22nd December which took him to 11.

He is growing on me
He makes good runs, moves the defence around... he helped to create the space for the Manhoef chance on his right foot with a clever run taking the defenders to the other side.
He's got a good shot on him and will do well in the future when he fully learns his trade and develops more
