Massive dive for the penalty. Which I like but I’m surprised the moral police of the oatcake aren’t all over him for it? Worked hard but still not showing why he’s worth anything over a few million tbh. I thought you were a member of the moral police 🤔 They're a bit like The Fall. I saw line up 32 of The Moral Police support World of Twist in 91-92. Not with diving. I encourage players to dive and he did it. He fouled their keeper if anything. Beautiful stuff.

Watched him closely yesterday. He made some meat runs through their back line but we never got the ball through to him on several occasions.
The run towing the penalty was a good example of his awareness. Hopefully we will improve decisive through balls to the space he is running into him.

Didn’t see anything wrong with the penalty. His hand took Cannons shin, OK he went down drastically but it was stone wall for me. Had that gone against us I’d have no complaints.
He was also focussed taking the penalty, was a pleasure to see him rifling home…..last year we had Daniel Johnson.

A striker who wants to run between and attempts to shoot or churn a shot for himself is so very welcomed. His link up play/dropping a little deeper to collect and exchange, has come along, yesterday being a good example. Someone to hopefully rely upon for the remainder. Go on Cannon - keep um’ firing!

His leg clearly moves toward the keeper after the keeper pull his hand away. Blatant dive/cheating but I’m here for it.

You must of had something in your eye if you didn't see there keeper clearly catch his foot, could see it clear as day from the south stand. Stonewall penalty

It was a penalty and it was a dive Hmmm can't quite work that one out 😂😂 Well the keeper grabbed his ankle but I don’t think that caused Cannon to go down. He was already on his way when the keeper did that. So yes the keeper technically fouled him but he was going down anyway regardless of that. I think

This talk of us signing him up permanently, how much will we be able to pay for him? How will this impact our other transfer dealings?

1. Will I make it as a premier league striker next year?
2. Do Stoke fans think I look a bit like Wayne biggins?
3. If we can cook everything in an air fryer why don’t they make big ones to replace built in ovens?

Hes a very good player.
He does look better with somebody else alongside him (I.e. Gallagher), but does have the attributes to lead the line alone.
He works hard. Puts himself about. Not the tallest, but does challenge for every header and keeps defenders honest.
He can clearly finish too.
Hes grown on me.

He was helping out defensively, winning headers and running all over the place playing aggressively and with passion. Just shows how long it takes for a player to get back up to speed when he hasn't played for a long time.

You must of had something in your eye if you didn't see there keeper clearly catch his foot, could see it clear as day from the south stand. Stonewall penalty I’ve just watched it again and Cannon moves his foot to their keeper. It’s a massive dive. But I like that. Have a look at all the angles. The one from front on does show him putting his foot in towards the keeper and getting ready to dive but their keeper must have had a mssive brain fart because he actually grabbed his ankle (albeit momentarily) with one hand giving Cannon all the encouragement he needed to go down. The give away was there wasn't too much complaint from the Derby players and most tellingly the keeper was very bashful. It was what is called a 'soft one' but in today's money most definitely a penalty and not a dive.

I have and it’s a glorious dive. It's a penalty and a dive I don’t think it should be a penalty but they always usually are hence why he should do it. Cannon kicked him though for sure and it should be a foul against but it never is and it’s good to see our players doing it.
