Decent finisher but that seems to be it with him. Not a player you want to be starting games with, but could be an impact sub. We’re light in the striker department and letting Mmaee go was a mistake we’ve got Schumacher to thank for. Personally believe he’d be a better bet for the lone striker role with the players we have around the CF now. We’re a bit stuck until January to be honest but I’d be thinking about Tezgel, seems more of a footballer that will get involved in the game He can score if given the ball and chances near the goal and fuck off this tracking back. Vast majority of stein and sheron goals they just picked up ball in or near the penalty area and let fly quickly. Fuller created havoc mostly in and around the box , wolves away Or Birmingham at home were exceptional. We do not need so many men in our own half who are then totally knackered and having to run 40 yards and past 3 or 4 players to get anywhere near their goal all the time.

Give him chances and he will score the goals in my opinion The chance he scored last night wasn't easy and as he was playing virtually as a midfielder the first half I thought he did OK.

A few saying he did nothing else last night but I don't agree.
He held the ball up well and won a free kick for our first goal.
He often makes runs which give our defenders out balls (even though they rarely notice). And won a few flicks ons but nobody there to benefit from them.
He's the first striker I've seen at Stoke for ages who seems to be looking for runs in behind and times his jumps pretty well.
I may of course having been scared by watching Tyrese repeatedly compete for every header as if it's the first time he'd ever had to do it.
Cannon already seems the type of striker who will finish well instinctly and not as well when given time. I hope we get to test that theory by creating more chances for him.

Good player, just needs someone up front with him. Will score a hat full with the right player supporting him.

Interesting to hear that Pelach told him to do what he did ie not press. Shame some on here make their comments without having a clue what the coach may have instructed. Thank God no one on here is involved with the team

Led the line well today. Showed a different side to his game than we’ve seen to date.

Yeah thought Cannon led the line well today given that we were dreadful for a lot of the game.
Good penalty and put a shift in.
A striker with confidence is always a plus.

Thought he was quite easily MOTM today
Million and Bae were so wasteful around him, so he did everything he could in and out of possession

He’s going to get 15-18 goals with a bit of luck

The service to him needs to be a lot, lot better.
Junho, Moran, Burger, Manhoef all consistently wasteful.
He's a decent CF if he's fed.

Like a different player today - way more physical and winning headers from long balls. Looks like he really needed to get to MATCH fit and start putting himself about a bit more

He's a fucking class act. Best striker we've had in years. Has a very bright future ahead of him.

His best all round game. Our decision making in the final third was bloody awful. Manhoef has no football brain

Really good today, ran his bollocks off and some neat link up at times. Getting people closer to him is key. Put him up there and isolate him and he’ll look lost.

Great to see a centre forward tracking back and not afraid to put a tackle in. Good crunching tackle on one ot their lot on the half way/touchline

Thought he had a really good game today. Obviously he scored the penalty; but there was so much more. He’s always hanging on to the centre half looking to make a darting run through. I don’t think we’re playing to his strengths sometimes. And some good defensive runs to cover back behind him at times. Pleased for him that it was a game he came away with a goal, as I think it’s good for his confidence.

Ran his bollocks off and put in a proper performance.
Annoying how we continued to try little intricate passes into the box instead of GETTING TO THE FUCKING GOAL LINE AND CUTTING IT BACK.
If we did that he’d have bagged a hat trick today.

Massive dive for the penalty. Which I like but I’m surprised the moral police of the oatcake aren’t all over him for it?
Worked hard but still not showing why he’s worth anything over a few million tbh.

I saw line up 32 of The Moral Police support World of Twist in 91-92.
