Anyone know why cannon came off bit of a strange one Coz he’s crap maybe? Or simply that he was playing crap? I’ll be amazed if he’s still here post January. I hope he isn’t. He’s fucking woeful.

He’s had one good game, apart from that he has contributed absolutely nothing. He keeps giving the ball away and has had some great changes to put other players in and missed a few chances himself.
Get Ryan back as he’s a far better player

Get Ryan back as he’s a far better player Doesn't seem to be able to hold the ball nor play a straight forward pass. Looks like he's fairly decent at finishing but we really need more than that with our set up.

Hes either spat his dummy out over the Schumacher sacking or... Is beyond shite. I'd say the fact Leicster were willing to loan/sell him with only a half fit Jamie Vardy on the books says a lot.

Yet another player signed after a potentially career changing injury and let’s not pretend some didn’t suggest that before he signed , our transfer window signed the three key roles with known injuries or known injury history bonkers one may be all three together madness

He was never as good as the fees being banded around were making him out to be. And like I said at the time, he’d done sod all to justify it. I’ve been surprised by how bad he’s actually done tbh. The basics just aren’t there. Koumas is the best option we have centrally and by some distance too.

Obviously if he was any good he'd be in a struggling Leicester squad. Seeing that a 37 year old is preferred says it all

A struggling actor finally got his big break in a play. One line. "Who fired that canon!"
For weeks he practiced his line!
WHO fired that canon?
Who.... fired..... that.....canon?
WHO FIRED THAT CANON?
Until the big night finally arrived. Nervously he waited his cue until the loud boom of a canon rang out....
"What the fuck was that!?"

Cracking finish again, I think he’s got to start every game and we’ve got to accept he’s not going to be involved in the overall play a lot and will have games where he does next to nothing.
We simply haven’t got enough goals in the rest of the team to leave him out.

Quality finishes for all of his goals
We need to give him the service and play him in more
Have to create a system that gets the best out of him
Agree that he’s carried otherwise as he doesn’t bring others in to play

For his own career, he needs to go elsewhere. We just don’t set up to maximise the best part of his game. It was bizarre taking him off when we finally started to play a game where he thrives.

If he plays and scores he’ll get plaudits but it’s clear as day that if he doesn’t, he won’t do much else on the day. Could score 4 in a game, but equally go another 5 matches looking not very good at all. He’s going to be a 8/10 or a 3/10, just have to hope he scores enough to make up for the rest of the areas he lacks, but that might not necessarily be all his fault. Still only really young as well, quite clearly got a decent future in the game if he cracks it.

Took his chance well tonight. It would have been a very poor miss.
Aside from that single action, he was very poor again.

Young lad making his way in the game but for me he is our biggest problem. No great pace or technical ability not great in the air and average hold up play. He can finish however. A single striker he does nothing and is isolated. As a pair he looks better but the sacrifice playing two in midfield is too much for the team and we pretty much get over run. Difficult conundrum. 3-5-2 gets him in the team but as ever we can’t play it effectively

It’s a long old road

Id only play him when Gallagher’s fit as it’s the only way he’ll get opportunities as he doesn’t seem the type to create them for himself. He can certainly finish though.

We simply haven’t got enough goals in the rest of the team to leave him out. For me it’s perfectly fine for a striker to do nothing else in a game provided they score when given a chance, many great strikers have been this way, you can’t have many players in a team like that of course as you need some balance. Cannon will score plenty of goals this season, and when you look at the embarrassing list of top scorers we had last season it’s something we desperately needed.

Needs to play in a two. Gallagher, Lowe or a new striker in Jan to pair with him is a must. What's Vokes up to these days

Was actually a very good technical finish from a tight angle running at pace last night. However he ran to the wrong corner to celebrate and ended up having to sprint back across the pitch to our bit for another go. Such a shame Gallagher is out as he's just what Cannon needs.

Just wish he'd add to his account a touch more.... 4 goals in 1 game still only gets us 3 points.... I'd be happier if he spaced those 4 out, and got the winner against Swansea, Norwich and Bristol!!!

He’s a tactical dilemma. Play him up front on his own and he’s borderline useless, play him alongside a second striker and he will score goals but it leaves us vulnerable elsewhere.

Decent finisher but that seems to be it with him. Not a player you want to be starting games with, but could be an impact sub. We’re light in the striker department and letting Mmaee go was a mistake we’ve got Schumacher to thank for. Personally believe he’d be a better bet for the lone striker role with the players we have around the CF now. We’re a bit stuck until January to be honest but I’d be thinking about Tezgel, seems more of a footballer that will get involved in the game
