Johansson 9 MOTM - didn’t do owt wrong. Won us a point with his giant viking hands. Loved it when he challenged and clattered into their striker towards the end. 'Get off my land' style of aggression.
Stevens 7 - competent LB
Rose 6 - did fine
Gibson 6 - same as Rose
Wilmot 7 - Solid. Did ok going forward too and won us some corners. Best option we have at RB.
Junho 6 - trying too hard. Very technical, skilled and fast but at times seemed a bit weak/reluctant to tackle. A few reckless passes too. One for the coaches to work on.
Moran 6 - fairly anonymous
Burger 5 - bit too weak, didnt win enough tackles. We played better with Thommo.
Manhoef 8 - what a finish?!
Koumas 7 - Did his best and has v quick feet, doesn't have the phyiscal presence of Gallacher sadly
Cannon 6 - Very limited service

Junho - Some horrific passing but he’s a talent 5
Manhoef- Nice goal, seriously needs to improve his decision making 6
Cannon - Not much to go off but his head doesn’t drop 5
Koumas- Made some good runs and plenty of endeavour 6
Thompson- Provided stability 6

Rose made an outstanding tackle first half. We were potentially in danger but he stayed on his feet, backed off a little and then pounced at the exact right time to get a brilliantly timed foot in. It was excellent defending.
I thought the defences was pretty sound today. And the keeper outstanding.
The front 6 were very poor in the final third. The final pass, the choice of ball, the composure - everything was lacking.
But a good point overall.

Junho was very good in the second half. Him and Stevens played really well & if anything was going to be created, it was likely to come from them.

I've definitely watched a different game Junho was excellent second half and Moran played well 2nd half I would have given Junho a 7. First half a 5 - he was weak and poor. It is encouraging that he improved so much after HT. |

Wilmot 7 Got caught out a couple of times but definitely currently the best option we have for right back

Junho 7 Gave the ball away really dangerously a couple of times but grew into the game. There is no denying his technical ability and he is improving physically too.
Manhoeff 7 Not at his best but, as so often, he is our difference maker

Vidigal 6
Seko and Junior not on long enough
Overall an encouraging showing, particularly second half.

Wilmot - 7 solid display

Gibson - 7 showed some leader qualities
Stevens - 8 very good also attacking wise
Burger- 6 nothing special today
Moran - 6 had couple of chances otherwise quiet
Junho - 8 got better as the game went on, was everywhere at the end.
Manhoef- 7 cool finish and quite lively
Cannon - 5 didn't do much
Koumas- 6 didn't get much service, was often in the right place though
Thompson- 6 better than Burger today

9 to Viktor as saved the game for us, 5’s for Burger and Junho and 7’s for the rest.
Midfield was far too easy to be by-passed in 1st half which was mainly down to Burger showing a lack of steel and being out of position too often. Thompson, for all his knockers, was far more disciplined and we looked better with him on - he even made the odd forward pass!
Junho was admittedly better second half but far too light going into tackles and gets dispossessed far too often. Doesn’t run at defenders when he could do so and gave far too many short passes back to Stevens in the 2nd half when he could have forged into their area or make a better through ball.
Just my opinion.

Junho struggled first half but something clicked at half time and suddenly he looked like the player of last season. First half I felt he looked unsure as to where he was supposed to be and what he was supposed to be doing, but that hesitancy had gone in the second half |

Same with Bae too, we never got the ball to him at all first Half so he was ineffective, that’s not the same as being shit. |
