Johansson - 9 He’s really settling now. Top keeper
Wilmot - 7 did well. Not flashy but looks far more solid than Junior.
Rose - 6 not the best but did OK
Gibson - 6 OK
Bocat - 7 Thought he did well second half
Burger - 6 Needs to cut the silly stuff out
Bae - 6 mixed bag today
Moran - 8 really like him
Gallagher - 7 never stops running
Cannon - 7 unlucky today could have had a brace. Looks the part
Koumas - 6 quiet

Vidigal - 6 did well when he came on bar the shot
Thompson - 6 just wish he’d occasionally pass forwards

Johansson 8 - MOTM saved us a point
Wilmot 7 - Thought he did much better second half
Rose 7 - Steady
Gibson 6- Fannying around with the ball at the back nearly cost a goal but other than that ok
Bocat - 7 Same as Wilmot
Burger 5 - Anonymous, needs dropping and was on his way to a second yellow
Bae 6 - Decent in isolated spells but his delivery from set pieces was garbage and needs to seriously work on his decision making
Morgan 7 - Positive going forward but his final ball was lacking at times
Gallagher 7 - Puts himself about and is instrumental to the current formation
Cannon 6 - should have scored but looked better than the games prior to Pompey, the 442 formation alongside Gallagher has helped him massively
Koumas 5 - never really got into the game
subs
Manhoef 6 - By far our best player on a technical level at the club, pressed and had some moments of real quality
Vidigal 6 - positive cameo
Tezgel 5 - didn't really do much but put a shift in
Thompson 6 - made a vital interception and sured up the midfield

Johansson - 9 *MOTM saved us many times, very good.
Wilmot - 7 solid match

Gibson - 7 made couple of good interceptions
Bocat - 7 our best attacking defensive player today
Burger - 6 was afraid he'll get thrown out of game. Otherwise Ok but not great.
Bae - 7 some good and bad passes.
Moran - 7 OK, nothing special though
Gallagher - 7 important player, hope he recovers soon
Cannon - 6 missed a golden chance, but still his second best match for us
Koumas - 7 looked dangerous at times. Fast!
subs
Manhoef - 7 woke us up. Good.
Vidigal - 7 lively and got better as the game went on.
Thompson - 6 Ok sub for Burger.
Tezgal - 5 Didn't really do anything, would try Ennis instead

Viktor - 9, vital saves that won us a point
Wilmot - 8, best defender again
Rose - 7, some decent blocks
Gibson - 7, best I've seen from him
Bocat - 7, a bit raw but I think we've got a decent player here
Koumas - 6, seems a bit wrong to criticise a Liverpool protege but was way off the pace I thought, not switched on at free kicks and throws.
Moran - 7, always wanting the ball and looking to make things happen
Junho - 6, dropped a few bollocks around our box but was always involved and looking to get involved
Burger - 5, early brain dead yellow card restricted his game again and then completely ran out of steam.....again
Gallagher - 7 defended from the front and held the ball well
Cannon - 7, led the line well and gave their defence a few problems
All the subs a 6

You're entitled to your opinion, but I think it's a waste playing him in the Championship, it's like playing with 10 men as I see it. I’d say it’s more Burger getting booked in the first 15 mins of every game which makes us look like we’re playing with 10 men, if Tezgel gets the service he’ll score goals🔴⚪️ The problem is that he only looks decent in the box. He can't run the channels as he is way too slow, he is not good at holding the ball up as he is way too weak and he isn't great in the air either. Because of all this he isn't much use in games like yesterday as I see it where we create most of our chances on the break. If we are controlling the game where we can set him up in the box numerous times he'd probably score, but wouldn't it be better playing with a player giving us more options than that? To me he is right now a luxery player at this level and really needs a loan to build up confidence and strength. Hopefully he will come good, but his lack of pace has to be compensated by something which means he will have to build up his strength considerably to be useful at this level as I see it. |
