Ignoring Cannon’s first goal against Portsmouth, he scored three goals in eight minutes, is this Stoke’s fastest ever hat trick?

No - because his hat-trick includes his first goal, how can you ignore it? What a strange post. Gouranga.

Are the three goals after the first goal not a hat trick?

Oof. When is a hat-trick not a hat-trick?
What a tricky question

To be pedantic, strictly speaking a hat trick is three goals scored with both feet and head. Over the years it’s become devalued as any old three goals constitutes a hat trick but to the purists the above is true.
PS, wasn’t Gerryatrick the oldest German footballer to score three goals in a match. (Just donning coat as we speak)

Are you asking if that was the fastest time that three consecutive goals by one player have been scored? If so, I don't really know. We could however be on for some kind of record for the most pedantic replies in one thread

I don't know the ins and outs of what constitutes a hat-trick, but I do know that if you ignore the first 13 minutes of the match his first was the fastest goal ever scored (if you discount the one Gary Lineker scored before kick off - the reason for his one and only yellow card).

It’s kinda like a double hat trick, the first set and the second set so its 6 goals, what about braces?
