I wondered if anyone else is struggling with a lousy stream via the official I follow Stoke site? It's been pretty dreadful for me for every game to date, giving an impression of slow motion at times. I have no difficulty with any other stream and have rather high quality internet. It's getting to the point where I'm hoping the matches are selected by Paramount +. Any feedback/thoughts?

I thought that the Portsmouth game was pretty good. No buffering and fairly high resolution. I stream on a laptop with an HDMI connection to my big TV.
I'm buying Xfinity in NH for 800 Meg but typically get 450 meg download speed +/-.

Weird, I’ve been really impressed with it this season.. Been perfect for me and that’s on a crummy laptop and middling wifi connection

Thanks for that guys. It's weird. I use Fidium and literally everything else I stream is fine. Guess I'll just have to suck it up. Maybe I need to move to 'live free or die' land?!

Sometimes it is my WiFi or VPN connection but it also happens when I have a shit-hot Internet connection and a secure VPN. I am considering not renewing my subscription.

Please email Anthony Emmerson with a detailed account of the problems with the service and ask him to pass it to the relevant colleagues responsible, you could also suggest it becomes an agenda item for the newly formed Stoke City Connect meeting (formerly the Council) I did exactly this about 10 days ago because as a non techee I found the process to purchase a match stream so frustrating and in the end decided not to bother. I purchase flights, book hotel rooms, complete visa applications, shop etc etc on-line without any problems at all

No problems for me when watching abroad. Using the App or Web Site I didn’t find it intuitive to use at all. I’m certainly no Techee, but I’m not an idiot either when it comes to using apps and web sites to purchase/pre-book things. Did I just have an off night?

If that’s the case and I’m not doubting you at all does both the App and Web Site take that into account that from the purchasers perspective?

I use the website on a pc plus monitor, not the app. Go to the 'Match Centre' and the streaming bit is just under the main display. The stream itself is fine so far this season. If the issue is around purchasing from Stoke, I have had a problem paying on Google Chrome, using all different credit and debit cards, several times. Switching to Firefox browser has fixed it. Not sure why this happens uniquely on Stokecityfc.com!

I think there’s a bit of a muddling of issues here, the OP is talking about the quality of the reproduction of the live stream (which I’ve found excellent) whereas owde is talking about the process of navigating the site to buy and subsequently play the fucker, which he correctly identifies as absolutely shite
