Already on Twitter someone has suggested charging Sheffield Utd supporters the same in retaliation. What a twisted warped comment. Rivalry or not they are fellow football supporters. Have SCFC tried to come to a reciprocal price agreement? If not why not? if they have and Sheffield Utd have refused the only sensible thing (all though it won’t happen) is for our supporters to boycott the game. 2700 x £38 would be their loss. It may make other clubs and supporters to wake and smell the coffee……fair pricing for all. Apologies rant over.

Not sure it is a warped comment. Stoke fans complaining about the price will mean absolutely nothing to Sheffield United. If their fans travelling around the country had to pay that ridiculous price, their supporters groups etc would soon get on their backs.

In the HC’s words ..it is what it is ..moaning about it on the internet won’t change a thing
Doesn’t make it right but both Utd & Wednesday know a visit to Sheffield is a decent away day for fans up and down the country and attracts the numbers , with reasonable road / rail access with decent pubs and plenty of them … unfortunately priced accordingly
note : cos I go every away I tend to take the rough with the smooth and over the season the high are averaged out by the cheaper games .. accept others , especially those that tend to pick and choose their aways , be it due to results , geographical position or general attractiveness of the fixture or day out may have a different view
actually cost me more to park at Oldham v u21 than the cost to get in ..could of parked on the street but felt low ticket price warranted giving a national league club a little help

Just had a look at the prices for home supporters.
£41 to sit in one of the side stands and £36/£38 to sit behind one of the goals.

Outrageous prices, both home and away seemingly.
I don't understand however why a 60 year old gets a discount but a 22 year old can't?

Absolute piss take.
Me and my lad to go to Sheffield Utd with transport is the same as booking Italy v France at the San Siro with flights.

Scandalous pricing and that’s why free coach travel is so important for many of our supporters who otherwise wouldn’t be attending at that price. Also bunny Italy v France could be free and in our back garden and I’d have no interest whatsoever🤷♂️great for your lad but each to their own mate

Not massively arsed who is playing, but two of the best in Europe, and two of the top 3 national anthems, too. Absolute bucket list night for me and my lad.

Our most recent trip to Dublin vs Ireland was £57, the fact it's completely unregulated is scandalous.

Fair enough. My point wasn't about how good or not it is, but what a piss take this country is for ticket prices

You could argue that the pricing here for a bog standard crappy soon-to-forgotten lower division game of dubious quality is far more scandalous than the £94 (or whatever it was) for Villa v Bayern Munich which was at least a premium product with world class players which presumably Villa fans will remember for the rest of their lives.

Absolute piss take.
Like any other fair minded fan I would have paid c£20 - £22 for a ticket ie approx what Watford (London club!) charged.
Just as an exercise I wondered by comparison what it would cost to watch one of the most exciting teams in European football, Borussia Dortmund . . . . Single Borussia Dortmund standing tickets cost £15.50
Union Berlin charge £11 to £12.60 depending on the stand, while Eintracht Frankfurt, who have removed the seats in the upper tier of the Nordwestkurve at the Waldstadion to create the second-biggest standing terrace in the country, are charging £12.60
Now, that’s what I call treating fans with respect!

This assumption that pensioners are relatively skint needs to change! No offence to the 60 year old but the club should be more worried about the 22 year old remaining on board, potentially 60-70+ years of supporting there.
