Enda plays
Stoke City wins
Was the catalyst for our survival last season i.e. a square peg in a square hole
He comes back in tonight and we win.
Guys ferrrking Coleman’s

I like him. Solid and a good pro such a shame he has so many issues keeping fit.

He performed well. Certainly more assured than Bocat at present

Cost us the goal, otherwise decent performance Not seen it back but how did he? It was on the other side of the pitch Did he fail to track the scorer? He's very good at this level, obviously struggles to play Saturday and then mid week and/or 90 minutes

He is a good left back though, shame he's coming to the end. If only we'd signed players like him upon relegation.

Needed to stand off Murphy and let Koumas do what he could before committing himself, but poor covering of O'Mahony by the centre backs too.

We definitely looked better with Stevens and Wilmot at full-back.... Once Tchamadeu and Bocat came on, you could see how it weakened us, luckily the game had been put to bed by then!!!

I've got to admit to knowing sod all about Enda Stevens before we signed him but for a 34 year old he's a lot better than I expected.
It makes me wonder what he was like 6/7 years ago. Has he always been very underrated or am I just ignorant??

It was certainly a very weak challenge, but when fit he's a class act at this level.

Like you say he was over that side covering I thought he was absolutely excellent last night

Excellent player.
Can’t see Bocat playing much if Enda stays fit.

Came back from injury late March and a huge part of our revival to stay up. In the last eight matches 4 wins and 3 draws were attained so I'd say his presence made a very big impact. That and the pep talk from Walters Let's hope Enda can stay fit as with Gally because I think that expereience and endeavour mixed with the youngsters will be massive.

Everything SUFC fans said about him. Pity he's not 5 years younger, but currently the best option by a mile for us.

Both full backs gave us a bit of steel and didn't go missing leaving huge gaps for the opposition to exploit. I'm sure Bocat will come good but I have serious reservations about Junior and come January if I had anything to do with transfers this is the one area I would be desperate to look to improve on. Gouranga.

I felt last season that Bae always seemed more confident when Stevens was playing. I don't know if it's because he doesn't have to worry so much about the defensive side of his own game or just that he knows exactly where Stevens will be and what he will do. The relationships between these two and Million and Hoever saved us from relegation last season in my opinion.

Like you say he was over that side covering I thought he was absolutely excellent last night He was most certainly culpable for the goal. Cover is exactly what he should have done, but he steamed in even though Koumas was matching their guy for pace. He effectively took himself and Koumas out of the equation and allowed their man a free run into the box to pick his pass. It was an accident, but it was his making. Other than that he was indeed excellent.

Cost us the goal, otherwise decent performance He did but it was through trying to hard. He should have let Koumas deal and then stepped in. Classic “team out of form” moment where by trying to help he fucked it up. Apart from that he was decent to be fair.

I thought he was really unlucky, he got a foot to it and then it seemed to bounce back off his other leg. Should have perhaps just hung back for a couple of seconds more as Koumas was keeping up with him and was goal side

I hope Bocat can learn a lot from Stevens experience on the training ground, I've said that he has the tools to be a useful player at this level.
