I remember when Bournemouth sacked what’s his band and replaced him with what’s his name now who no one had heard of. They had a bad start under him but the owners said be patient and trust in him. He’s done aright since

He’s done aright since The issue is, their fanbase is probably a lot more understanding with regards to playing styles and it taking time. A large proportion of our fanbase believe we should be playing 4-4-2 with chalk on their boots wingers and 2 strikers. It's wrong but a patient possession based style will never be accepted at Stoke. |

The sacking was fine, the replacement and ideology behind it, however, is fucking insanity. Just needed to get a steady man in, not some Guardiola lite 2024 edition. We keep doing things at the wrong times - changing the structure, changing the model. We do it years too late, behind the curve and we end up in limbo with everything.
