I would genuinely have him back. 7 wins in 10. Promotion and chances for our exciting youngsters. Got rid of the majority of the deadwood. Was building in the first foundations of a team we could really get behind. Was rebuilding the bond between the club and our fans. Need I say more?
Yes there were a few poor performances, but that was to be expected early days - for all that we were midtable and on a cup run, which is what we would have realistically wanted/expected from this season. It was hardly failing was it? And we gave Neil and Jones far longer even in the face of us going backwards at an alarming rate.
Sacked solely for the reason that it fed Walters ego, so he could have a cowardly stubborn yes man who would allow himself to be cuckolded by Walters on all matters tactical, recruitment etc.
So Jon, grow a pair, Sack off Walters and Pelach, get Schuey back as MANAGER (failing that Danny Rohl will be acceptable) then, if you wont sell the club, leave it to actual football people and not your friends and Sycophants! If you don't, you will be responsible for taking this club back to the dark days of third division football. And the longer you leave it, the worse it's going to be.

SS was popular with fans and players alike and doing just about okay.
7 wins in his last 10 is factual, but stretching the truth a little. To get to that you need to bundle in few dead rubbers from the fag end of last season and a couple of League Cup ties this season.
Still, better than Narcis 0 from 2.

Fuck that though, I'm a Stoke fan and want to see him given a fair crack.

I'm still blown in the mind we sacked him and appointed this guy. It's just complete madness. Wow man. We've made a number of baffling appointments, at least with most of them I can sort of see some logic eg. We hired Lambert because literally no-one else wanted the job. This one is an absolute Clusterfuck.

I didn't agree with his sacking but he's gone so we need to move on But we don't ever move on do we. Look i want whoever is in the main job to succeed. But this has fuck up written all over it. Bigger and worse than any of the mad Nathan shyte. We are neck deep in shyte, we really need to realise that..

Canât argue with much being said but after Watford and Oxford he honestly couldnât see what had gone wrong. His post match comments were worrying.
NarcĂs on the other hand hasnât started well and I hope I donât hear him say âit is what it isâ again after a defeat on Wednesday. 3 pts canât come soon enough and we need at least 3 before the international break or this board will be in complete meltdown.

OK, I'm sorry to do this BUT Jan 2024 we Lost 2-1 to Birmingham then we lost 3-1 to Sunderland Feb comes around and we lost 5-0 to Leicester that was followed by a 3-1 loss to Blackburn then we beat QPR but a loss to Coventry and then to Cardiff came next
Short memories I'm afraid.

Indeed. And say we had SS back and he goes and loses a few games playing awful football - which given how clueless he was tactically is highly possible - what would the pro SS mob say then? "Let's get Michael O'Neil back?"

Wonder if his name will get an airing in the stands if we go behind on wednesday night? Itâs less likely he will come back than it is the real pep will be our next manager but I think as a protect vote his make will be sung Wednesday when we are losing it certainly was heard at Boro

Surely if you think Schumacher was harshly treated you shouldnât be calling for Pelach to be sacked after two games?

All youâve done there is ignore his first five games (unbeaten) and ignore the games post Cardiff (much improved results). For fairness, his first 12 games saw 3 wins 3 draws and 6 losses and his next 12 saw 633 so arguably, he was turning things around. Nothing to do with short memories.

So, let me get this right, no disrespect to Fish or his cousin BUT Jan/Feb 2024 stats 1 win and 6 defeats but that was ok was it? Dropping into the relegation zone for the first time in the Championship was progress? Bizarre. I must be in a parallel universe of football! Either that or the MB's been taken over by Bots. But hey, don't give a bloke a chance who's been here for less than 2 weeks and inherited what he's inherited! A Mostly YOUNG squad! Give him an effing chance at least!

Yes, well..Walters came in didn't he at that point, but hey, he's the new Dr Evil now . The team supposedly had a heart to heart with SS and he changed tactics to suit them and hey ho, we survived those stats are 1 win in 7 matches, the rest losses..AFTER his initial start. Nothing going wrong then? Some mastermind plan of progression ? go into the relegation zone to show you can fight your way out of it? I give up. I didn't dislike SS or want him to fail but...it wouldn't have worked and I'm sad to say, keeping him also would've just been putting off the inevitable eventually in my opinion.

Big difference is that when Schumacher came we were 2 points off the drop zone and had been for some weeks. You've soon forgot some excellent home and away wins in the last weeks finishing with more points than the previous season He has inherited a team that had 4 wins, one being with the youngest team we've ever put out. No excuses he simply has to win games. He's taken the money. He cannot be allowed to fail

I just gave you some facts mate, whilst using all of Schumacherâs stats from last season. I wasnât selective in those stats, like you were. Iâm not suggesting he was amazing, but he did show an upturn in results and Iâm sorry but that wasnât just down to Jon Walters. Anyway, heâs gone and I totally agree that Pelach needs to be given time.

Truth be told we rolled over and died before Leicester it was like he (SS) accepted defeat before KO? Honestly I strongly believed this was a huge mistake bringing in an unknown and I made it clear on here, got shot down for it. I would love nothing more to be proven wrong but can only see disaster with the changes made to the coaching staff.
