We're fortunate not to be in the bottom 3 already if we're being honest. The two wins that we have were tight games that could have gone either way unlike the 5 defeats which were fully deserved and heavy. We could realistically have 2 or 0 points based on performances. Think Schuey was unfortunate to not be given more time but that has to be on him and his team.
Just need a decent performance tonight to give us all a shred of hope again. I can't see that happening if Burger starts, he has been as woeful but who else comes in for him at the moment?

Never been happier that I'm working tonight. I'll stick my headphones in, play a couple of classic albums and then check to see how much further we've sunk after it's all said and done.
Good luck to anyone going tonight.

Tough game tonight. Despite on the face of it Portsmouth haven't won a game yet, every team they've played are either in the top 6 or relegated from the PL.
6 of 7 total goals scored away from home. Competitive in all 3 games and very close to getting 7 points. 3-3 vs Leeds, conceded 90+5. 2-2 vs Middlesbrough, conceded 90. 2-1 vs Burnley, conceded 90+4.

It does feel massive tonight.
It will be end-of-the-world type negativity if we lose, or even draw unconvincingly. And once that snowball starts rolling, it's very hard to stop, especially when you've got Swansea away and then a fortnight to dwell on it all
It's still retrievable, but can't shake the feeling that it's probably got to be tonight to nip it in the bud and calm things down a bit or all bets are off about where, and how fast, things could end up
Dangerously it's not even clear that Portsmouth are the relegation fodder their position in the table would imply when you see who they've played - 6 of the top 7 plus Luton.

Good luck to anyone going tonight. Same. There's a group of 4 of us not bothering tonight (Boothen), and 4 friends in the Family Stand also not going. This is all on the heads of Coates and Walters. I'll check the result at 10pm. I fear the worst. I hope I'm wrong, but I sense a defeat.

This project was always going to take time, time that our fanbase will not allow given the circumstances. I feel sorry for Narcis, he's got an impatient & frustrated (rightly so) fanbase who don't like patient passing styles. He's literally on a hiding to nothing and I honestly wouldn't be surprised if he never wins a game for us, I just can't see how this works and it's not actually any of his fault. The blame will lie at the feet of Walters & Coates.

Yes, plenty hanging on this one. In a strange sort of way I'm quite looking forward it. It really is going to be interesting to see how we play and how the crowd reacts.

Can't beat these at home then there's not a lot to hang on What we tend to do, especially in the second half of the season, is beat the top teams, not all but some. It makes us feel we're on to something. Then we'll lose to Portsmouth, Caediff, and any other team below us. We just about survive, and hopes are high for the next season, and then we sack the man in charge, That's scfc.

The big problem Narcis is facing is that he’s the gift nobody is asking for, and unless he hit the ground running it was always in danger of everything snowballing into a toxic and nasty atmosphere.
As it transpires, under him we’ve hit the ground face first into a pile of dog turds and nettles.
Football fans are always placated by good results, so he’s got to be incredibly pragmatic and do whatever is necessary to get the train back on the tracks. There’s an international window to embed the more intricate stuff - tonight it about results and stopping this careering off into a disaster.
If we lose tonight we’re in a right pickle…

Assuming Manhoef is out, I think he will go with Johansson Junior Wilmot Gibson Bocat Koumas Burger Thompson Junho Gallagher Cannon He simply has to bring Phillips back in, he's the only centre half capable of playing the way he wants to play & i wouldn't be surprised to see Wilmot replace Junior at right back. That midfield and attack are depressing but about the best we can muster up. Moran is looking like a waste of a loan, he just doesn't fit in to this side. Johansson Wilmot Phillips Gibson Bocat Koumas Burger Thompson Junho Gallagher Cannon

I don’t see him dropping Wilmot or Gibson, and I also don’t see him starting Wilmot at rb. My team would have multiple differences, but I’m just predicting what I think Chicho will go with.

Yeah mine was a prediction, got a feeling after ending with Wilmot at right back on sat he might try it from the start tonight, especially as it frees up space for Phillips to come back in, who I think will be key in getting his system working. He's the only centre half who can come out with the ball and break lines with his passing.
