After what we saw on Saturday, I don't know how any of you have enough interest left to use valuable time in guessing the team for Wednesday. I don't care who he picks, he'll be square-balling it around the back. Presumably waiting for the opposition to leave areas behind them for us to exploit. That's if we can be bothered to get the ball over the halfway line. Also, if the opposition are fool enough to fall for it. For those of you that can’t be arsed to watch on Wednesday, here’s the commentary, Viktor rolls the ball to gibson, gibson to rose, rose looks up but decides to pass it out to stevens, stevens comes inside and plays a square ball to gibson, gibson turns and knocks it out to wilmot, wilmot with plenty of time looks up, turns back inside and is now being pressured by pompey’s centre forward…..wilmot….hooooffffff,. Portsmouth now back in possession move forward……..rinse n repeat!! this… it’s just shit football with no purpose- you have to have good intelligent players with good movement between the lines for this style to go well. We just do not have them. Walters clearly knew this is what he’d want to do which is , agsin, batshit.

I’m not going to get on anyone’s back, just an observation of how we play makes me feel. When we have the ball the pitch feels tiny and we have nowhere to make runs or play any kind of football, when the opposition have the ball the pitch feels massive and they are always able to make runs and pass the ball about easily. Our work rate and reading of the game off the ball must not be anywhere near good enough and the tempo when attacking far too slow. That’s not just the last two games it feels like it been this way for a long time

Am travelling a long way for this one
That usually doesn't work well to be fair.
Have got lots of Haribo and Percy Pigs for the trip and will have to download a good audiobook, something like Terry Scott's biography

They haven't won a league game all season.
You know what's coming.
This is exactly the type of game we'd have won under Schumacher. Same as Hull at home a fortnight ago.

What our players do (or don't do) when they personally do not have the ball - no matter which team is in in possession - drives me crazy. It doesn't matter whether our philosophy is to press or drop off, to adopt a high-tempo vertical approach or a slower, horizontal, possession-based game. If no-one works off the ball when a teammate has possession, and no-one takes away the shot or the last pass when defending, we make things much harder for ourselves.

No win for Portsmouth this season you say!?
Welcome to Stoke away, don’t you worry pompey, you’ll get your first win here. Don’t thank us. The pleasure is ours.

Birmingham City did it...actually bad example Perhaps the dachshund needs some kind of pointy hat or it doesn't work and a Bonio shaped like one of those corn dollies or something.

How about 3-4-1-2? Vik Wilmot/ Philips/Rose Seko/ Burger/ Sidibe/million Koumas Gallagher/Tezgel If my memory serves me Wilmot started out at Stoke at right back and scored a few decent goals. I’d take him there in a back four.

I think the majority of the team needs gutting as they’re showing absolutely no heart currently. I’d love to see: Koumas Vidigal Moran Million Sidibe Seko Bocat Rose Philips Dixon Johannson Am I the only person who thinks Stevens should replace Bocat? I'd like Gallagher to start and Moran too. Time for Junho to be taken out of the firing line. Honestly he’s been out so long I forgot he was available again. Agree I reckon Stevens should replace Bocat too. With this midfield i’d still stick with Koumas though.

That simply isn’t the case though is it?You're basically saying these games were dead certs and a guaranteed 3 points…..which is quite frankly bollocks.Weve fucked it up against all odds quite regularly whoever’s been in charge.

How about 3-4-1-2? Vik Wilmot/ Philips/Rose Seko/ Burger/ Sidibe/million Koumas Gallagher/Tezgel I think it's a given that Narcis is going to stick with his possession-based values, so predicting any team sheet should be based on who is most likely to make his tactics work. First thing I would do is put Rose in the middle of defence with Gibson, and put Wilmot out to RB. Replace Bocat with Stevens at LB. In midfield, start Seko and partner him with Thompson. On the right and left flanks, Junior and Million respectively. I'd just be interested to see if Junior is better deployed in RM with RB cover behind him. If Million isn't fit, then Junho goes in. Up front, Koumas supporting behind Gallagher.

I'm afraid that we'll gift a penalty to Portsmouth and get a red card in the process too.
This is just the type of a game this usually happens.

How do those stats guarantee us two definite victories….im intrigued? It's just stats. Black and white data. If we had have lost these 3 games on the bounce under Schumacher, then the data tells us he'd have picked up 9 points from the following 3. That was his average. 1.5ppg. It's a pretty simple concept.
