Who knows which way Narcis will go. Lawal, a revitalised Burger and Moran should be the best midfield set up given their roles and abilities while Koumas and Million have to play. Not sure if Gallagher is the perfect foil down the middle but Cannon doesn’t look like he can do that job either. It’ll come down to how Narcis thinks he can utilise the players he has but I’d expect a few to come in during January. And hopefully not another bunch of unproven kids or squad fillers. This team needs some experienced heads to gel it and kick some ass. |

If we're back to flip-flopping between systems, we might as well have just kept Schuey. Gallagher up-top ahead of Koumas-Junho-Manhoef should work. Cannon needs sending to the Prit Stick factory. If that was Thompson he’d be getting pelters I thought it was Junho's best game of the season and he looked as if he's getting back to last season. If you watch the highlights he is involved in all Stoke's. His main problem was that he was shattered before half time. Last season he could keep going all match. I guess that comes with missing pre season. |

With all the money at our disposal, even with financial restrictions, its farcical that we are relying on a Blackburn back up striker to save our season, in September Cannon seems to have stepped through the 'Seasoned Striker to Stoke and To Shit' Portal, as so many have done before him. Funny how many of them go on to score for fun after they step back through the portal and go on somewhere else Which tends to indicate that cannon, like many others before him is NOT a shit player but suffers from the same lack of service that affected most who have come before. To me that is indicative of a lack of creativity and balance in the starting 11, and most likely in the entire squad, Our midfield v Hull was virtually non existant...at both ends of the pitch...not an entirely new problem, just one we manage to avoid fixing season after season  I'm sure (hope) that Narcis will have seen just how unbalanced we were and seek to address it asap, within, of course, the restrictions of the squad he has inherited. Saturday was a very steep learning curve for our new head coach, let's hope he is a quick learner (and miracle worker) |

No one knows what players earn All guesswork I don't know people are even thinking about this a) its completely out of our control b) as you say, it's just all speculation, and runs the risk of creating a narrative based on myth. I very much doubt these articles know what is in a player's contract. and c) maybe it's worth seeing how he performs before we all pour judgement on how much he should or shouldn't be earning? |

I can imagine Gibson is on a bigger wedge given he joined on a free tranny. Pearson would be on more too because he would've also been on a decent wage at Bournemouth. I would hazard a guess that Johansson is on roughly £15k p/week, Gallagher slightly higher on £17k, and both Gibson and Pearson £25k. |
