A close run thing but Only Fools & Horses for me. It's true they have been repeated ad nauseum but I can't think of anything that made me laugh louder or longer that when I first saw Del Boy falling behind the bar counter in the Wine Bar. "Get your coat Trig we're going" The thing about old comedies is that they can look dated which is one of my absolute favourites is Porridge. Because they all wear pretty non descript uniforms it retains a certain modernity. I'm that sad that I've watched Porridge so many times that I can talk the script at the same time as the actors. I need to get out more!

'Father Ted or Black Books'
They do share a common writer jukebox which would explain the similarities in humour-'Black Books' was a great show.
See your point to be fair though.
