You may not appreciate the style of player Whitehead was but to say he was league one standard is just rubbish. He did what he did well, if only we had players now who could do their role well. Please get out more, find a young lady, find a friend, take your fa level 1 coaching badge and see what you can do. Maybe youd be a better coach than whitehead because he was sure a better footballer than you or me. |

There is little evidence that excellent players make better coaches or managers than average players.
If by the way you look at the CV of DW it's pretty similar to that of NP.
DW has coached at clubs like Huddersfield, Cardiff, Watford and NP has coached at clubs like Huddersfield and Norwich.
Would we ever appoint DW as Stoke manager or Head Coach, highly unlikely.
So why NP, my guess is JW and JC are influenced by the fact he's coached in Spain, unfortunately though with little success.

It's probably a joint decision between Pelach, Walters and potentially Coates (depending how involved he gets). Similar to most other decisions including transfers etc. Although a lot of people want to pin club decisions on a singular person, they are joint decisions 99% of the time. Knows the club |

This was the model people wanted wasn't it? The staff are hired by the Director of Football/Technical Director...the Head Coach is just one of those staff. It's the best model for the club in the long-term. The problem we have is John Coates is implementing it and making a pig's ear of it. Fucking useless twat. |
