I really like Pelach. He really is a refreshing change from the dour managers we’ve had recently. Love his positivity. Maybe you’re listening to him waffle. I can’t see anything particularly positive about the way we play under him. I’d say we’re considerably less fluent than we were under SS.

We have lost once in eight league games. That's not bad at all.

I’m not grumbling I just don’t think we’ve been at all impressive achieving them. If this isn’t you grumbling I’d hate to see when your posts when you actually do grumble. Just being honest it’s pretty shite.

We must remember there were a few anti-Pulis obsessives even in the weeks before we reached the cup-final.
Everyone is entitled to an opinion but not all opinions are equal.
There is definitely an improvement in fitness, attitude and endeavour since he arrived.
If you were there today you could hear and sense it.

We’ve got 3 winnable games in the next game week, albeit the QPR game is the most charity bus game I think I’ve seen. They’ve won 1 in 15…

If that’s the worst life is going to throw at me I’ll live with it. I’d put it on a par with putting the toaster on 5 when you wanted it on 4. No way to make it how you wanted it but it’s still fucking toast.

We look so much better.
We still look toothless but the play to get to the toothless bit so much better and hopefully getting a better striker in will change that.
We look a load fitter already too.
We just have to hope he doesn’t shit himself.

By spamming this board I take it you mean making posts. They’re much reduced whilst I’m here but old habits die hard so the odd few won’t hurt. Must remember spamming = the truth that people don’t want to see or hear. All happy clappy posts are not spam🤣🤣🤣

We just have to hope he doesn’t shit himself. I really don’t think he is the type of manager to do that. He seems really set in his beliefs and training the players in it. I think the only possible reason he would change is if we were really really in the shit and the players just couldn’t grasp what he’s trying to teach them. Which tbh I’m mightily impressed with what he’s putting out. Just imagine if we’d had a pre-season. I hope that he makes it to the summer and we recruit well and we really make his tactics work. Because it could be really damn good

We’ve had loads of false dawns, it’d just be nice to have a good manager for a change 🤣

Apart from the unbeaten run we’ve also significantly reduced the GA from -7 to minus -1 which helps with our current league placing. All positive to-date. Moving in the right direction, YES. Hopefully consistent improvement following the break.

Seko has made a huge difference. He gives the CM real balance. Very intelligent footballer who makes us tick. Phillips too is a massive plus. Good to see Bae improving week by week too. Lots of positives at the moment. Be nice to add a bit of physicality too.
It’ll be interesting to see the type of players he brings in in January and the positions he feels need strengthening most.

Pass judgement how’s that possible, I’ll tell you now exactly “some complete unknown” employed by Pound Land Walter’s. I’m far from impressed, but he should be given 10 games minimum and he’s had 7 so far. We’ve looked fitter at times but the tactics leave a lot to be desired. After 7 points from 9 this week things are looking promising. A spirited fightback against Soton and a real chance take the lead when Manhoef bundle the ball towards goal, good bit of resilience against Derby after gifting them a goal, a smash and grab against Blackburn and an opportunity to win today, but going a goal behind against a team that are one of the best drilled in the league, won the last 4 1-0 and unbeaten in their last 6 showed really good character. Probably the most impressive thing is our new found resilience and character.

Fed up of hearing how ambitious managers/players are and how they want to be in the Premier and Europe. I know if he does well here that his resolve will be tested but at least he isn't talking as if Stoke are just a stepping stone but are a club that he wants to do well at.

This is brilliant. Just shows he’s thinking about everything. I remember listening to a Podcast with Andy Griffin and he spoke about Pulis playing the Al Pacino speech in Any Given Sunday, he said the team loved it! If you watch this and don’t feel anything then maybe Stoke, football, achieving in life is not for you #noexcuses

Slowly but surely, you can definitely see there is progress being made. Pelach strikes me as a pretty intense fucker, the type who lives and breathes the game every minute he's awake. The players seem to have a togetherness and spirit which is great to see considering some of the nobheads we've had in the last 7-8 years.
Don't get me wrong, he's not perfect and I still aren't sure about some of his team selections but he seems to have a good reading of the game that is in play. Some of his subs are good too - we all moaned at the Bristol City game when he brought defenders on at 2-2 but in hindsight he was right as it got us a point from a game we were definitely going to lose.
Onwards and upwards.

Probably the most impressive thing is our new found resilience and character. Saved me typing this. True when we have gone behind recently or conceded I haven’t been as concerned. I’ve felt like we will create something and not shit the bed like we have previously. In 4 home games now we have come from behind twice and had chances to win them. Is it perfect no but I think there’s been a massive improvement. Not to knock Schumacher I liked him I think though he was a bit worried about losing and we didn’t quite go for it, he had a reputation to try and hold on to. Narcis has no rep and can afford to run that risk of trying to win and it doesn’t hurt his rep and it’s making us more positive.

I feel like the circumstances under which Pelach came in have influenced a lot of people's perceptions of him.
Almost as though he was starting with a negative handicap. Not really his fault.
He's therefore had to do a bit more just to gain that respect.

That video is actually really good.
I think it highlights as well what we have done well under him.
We’re not completely there yet but it was a tough gig. We seem to be getting there though. And hopefully that continues.

I am really astonished and dismayed about so much negativity on this thread. Pelach is far and away the best manager we have had probably since Waddington. He is changing the character of the players. We are so much harder defeat and going one down no longer means guaranteed defeat , In the short time he has been at the club he has done an astonishing job. I see every week improvements. He is a realistic chance for return to the top flight. Please please get behind him CHEERS NOT JEERS

A few draws we should have won and a few draw we should have lost. It’s good to see us drawing more though. Not drawing has been a big feature this last 2/3 seasons. I want to say we’ve become hard to beat but I think it’s too soon for that talk. What we have become though is a lot more resilient. If a bad thing happens it doesn’t bother them.
