Heard that he has been ‘let go’ by Simon King. I’m sure he has been there since the old ground. Community department has always seemed one of the best departments and grown massively over the years so don’t understand this at all?

30 years of service and awful way he was asked to leave from what I've heard.

Not good news if true. Ade has been there pretty much all his working life, and the Community team has always been know for its great work.

So what’s it about then as I’m sure it will have cost them more money paying people off than they are saving? Personality clash? Yes men wanted? Jobs for mates? If so, that’s no way to run any business.

It really is a sad state of affairs - I think he's been there since his YTS days.
From what I've heard, people have been replaced with a combination of 'yes men' and his mates known from his time at West Brom.
The ones that need binning off, won't be. They've brown-nosed and trampled over people to make their way to positions of authority.
I can't imagine it's a positive working environment, constantly having to watch your back.

Ade is great , never forget my lads first match and trying get some pics outside the ground and Ade saw this and came out the main entrance and took them for us. Shame if he has been let go.

If he’s been there over 30 years perhaps just perhaps he’s finished on his own terms as he’s getting ready to do less hours of work It’s always best to await the truth He didn't

It is possible and beneficial to replace good people with even better people. Tenure doesn’t and shouldn’t automatically mean that you become untouchable. Yes it’s tough if it happens to you but it doesn’t mean that it’s wrong

Yes it’s tough if it happens to you but it doesn’t mean that it’s wrong I suppose it depends on how you treat them when you get rid of them🤔after 33 years service you’d hope the club treated him with respect but from what I’ve heard that’s not happened

I thought Simon King was generally considered in a very positive light by the Stokies who have dealt with him. If so, do they really think he would shit on someone with 33 years service? I have no idea what's happened but I would think these decisions are not taken lightly.

Long service counts for nothing these days. You have to evolve or you get overtaken and I'm speaking as someone whose been above that trapdoor a few times in the past.
If you don't self improve in your field of expertise then you career will inevitably end.

Ade has certainly been there some years. I remember him starting in the days of Paul Johnson. He is Stoke through and through and genuinely cares for the community. I think he still refs at grass roots.
I hope this is fair and amicable.

From one decision people can’t understand to today’s bombshell. Seems this job has gone to JW head . Who’s next for the chop ? Everyone will be paranoid thinking i might be next . Just creates a yes man culture.

My experience of Anthony Emmerson must be different from others… I'm gutted for Ady, he's a genuinely decent bloke. Emmerson on the other hand.. my experience of him is absolutely shocking to be honest but feel like I'm in a very small minority with him.
