We really do have some cracking young players.
With the right older heads and a ‘decent’ manager we might be on to something beautiful

Ryan has a 100% record. Would love to know what Pelach thought of tonight I wouldn't be totally surprised if he does a George Burley and drives back to East Anglia to never return ( except with Norwich next month )

Am I the only one getting worried about Cannon? i created a thread suggesting Schmacher would be out of a job by christmas and Cannon wouldnt score no more than 5 goals. Im 50 per cent their already and after tonight i dont think i’ll be proved wrong Give you credit there for the first! I need to see what this coach will do with Cannon. Too soon to write anyone off for me, but to say it is a poor start is an understatement. He might not even play him for all we know!

Winning a penalty shootout 2-1 I love this game. Due to two fearless kids and a nutjob of a goalie!

When did extra time stop happening? Just tonight they felt sorry for the fans they didn’t want to make them watch anymore 😆

Players should be embarrassed after that. I don't see why they should be. We played some nice football in parts. New players bedding in and came away with a win after a mad 24hrs. I didn't think we played that bad. To believe that we should be rolling over Fleetwood is a bit much, seeing as how inconsistent we've become and they look like a disciplined side.

He is mate, but that latest croos into the box I watched Wilmot watch the ball go past in front of him, allowing the shot! He should be attacking and clearing that. Horrible from the back 4 (5) all that half. Yes true. Actually thought Dixon defended better second half. He’s fine with the ball at his feet.

Hes getting dropped like a hot shit if he carries that on. Drop Moran deeper and push Bae in as a 10. Then if he doesnt buck his ideas up then bring Vidigal in from the cold. We cant carry mardy half arsed players so they'd best regain some kind of fucks to give and form I thought Burger played well other than his powderpuff pen Nowhere near what we saw last season. For me he looks like he’s fed up. Hopefully it’s nothing because he was great last season

It’s not like Fleetwood we’re just sitting back they had plenty of chances themselves. We should be dominating these games not pondering trying to get out of first gear.

I didn't see the game from that point. Yes, there were some ponderous bits of play, but also some quick bits of play. From where we are now, managerless tonight, young squad, some good football and a win. I didn't think it was that bad.

. It’s a comfortable win if we don’t hit the bar twice. Plus it’s a cup game so a win is never guaranteed, regardless of opposition or our situation. Shawcross, Morris and the team did well tonight. I expected a loss if I’m honest. And yes we drew, but also won, and have a keeper who can actually save penalties. Be happy 😁

Dixon was shite. Only stopped one cross out of twelve. Their winger had him on Toast all night.

But my national friend Viktor saved us. That's fine! Norwich in the next round?
