Last year AN went on holiday to Dubai . The players went on holiday mentally . We then lost . The same this year . That performance stank of a holiday camp culture. Players strolling around at a tempo akin to a testimonial match . Then we have SS the great overthinker . Why Gooch was on the pitch only he knows . Ok Koumas played in midweek but he’s on fire and at 18 has energy to burn . Junho looks lost . Are we filling his head with tactics ? Though SS is a far nicer person than the four AN the bottom line is he thinks about the opposition far too much just like AN . Many of us say just develop a style of play and keep to it . Today it was obvious that Cannon would best last 60 minutes but Ennis ? Gallagher best get fit soon . We have two further international breaks . Two more holidays . They need to man up and quick

We may be proud to have internationals but it does seem to work against us. Even if they don't play there is the tiresome travelling and stress factor.
A lot of our players today were definitely off the pace and looked jaded whereas Oxford were up for the match and out to prove themselves in this league.
