Yep the former Notts County player, Southend United Caretaker manager and failed Mayor of London candidate 2016 puts himself in the same category as Kenny Dalglish, Trevor Brooking, Matt Busby, Bobby Charlton, Alex Ferguson, Tom Finney, Geoff Hurst, our Stan, Alf Ramsey, Bobby Robson, and Walter Winterbottom. I'd put him in the same category as Ernie Tapei and Count Binface No player or managee should be knighted solely for their footballing achievements. That also goes for any sports person.

They gave their own league same as other sports. Desperate attempt to infiltrate the men's game

But it doesn't work the other way? Female players are literally weak at the knees Would get to the stage if a female player was remotely good enough to get half a chance, as soon as dropped would be cries of sexism and the Alukos -would be making some case not to do so. They have their own league and the fact it doesn't generate the £ to pay the big money is purely down to the interest not being remotely as high .

The amount of cruciate ligament injuries in the women’s game is alarming, just through trying too hard it seems. Maybe they should just calm down and stick the kettle on😉

They would look completely ridiculous and no club is going to risk that embarrassment. It would be the equivalent of putting an average academy 13/14 year old boy into the Premier league.

Way more likely a 14 year old boy plays in the prem True. I think people underestimate the difference in physicality. There are some wonderfully talented female players. But they would be totally out muscled to the point of being totally ineffective on a pitch of Premier league men. It would be embarrassing and unfair on them.

The Aluko quote is completely made up isn't it? Pretty sure she never said it. I wouldn’t put it past her mind….. The actual quote from her “The ladies have proven they are now more than equal to the men’s game. You just have to look at our amazing Lionesses, they put the men’s team to shame. Our girls should be given a chance in the men’s Premier League, they would easily hold their own.”
