I’d be ok to sing it but frankly if someone told me I *must* sing it, I’d refuse just to spite them. It’d be my choice and my choice alone. The same should true if you’re England manager.

According to his interview, he's been consistent in not singing any of the 2 anthems since the beginning of his career so I don't see why his explanation is not simply accepted and move on. Why would it need to be challenged anyway? What has Sven singing it got to do with anything? That was his choice. Capello didn't sing it, Gary Neville didn't sing it, and that's just as irrelevant, as is who has and hasn't sang it before. It's not a Witch Trial. |
