Burger should start but probably won’t.
Sidibe and Tezgel will play cup games this season.
Play a sensible, solid back four who don’t clutter the space of the creative players, and we may have an entertaining season,

Saying that, I think he’s still better as a box-to-boxer, whereas Burger is better sitting deep and not so good as an 8. |

And will be several levels better than then with game time. We need to bin this loan them out all the time idea. Him and Tezgel should be getting plenty of game time this season for us. |

Just listened to SS interview. Fully expect to revert back to the older players on Saturday. Hopefully not totally and give the likes of Moran and maybe others a chance. Tough call given the rest between games especially for the youngsters possibly.

It was youth vs youth tonight, Plymouth will be tougher I’m sure. Hopefully he gets it right and we get to see more performances like tonight |

But he doesn’t turn eighteen till February so it’s not really an option. He’s legally still a child and there are strict safeguarding frameworks in place - for example he’s not allowed to use the same changing room as the rest of the squad - that make it prohibitively difficult for him to go on loan. It’s very rare for players under 18 to go on loan these days. It does occasionally happen but usually isn’t worth the hassle. |
