He's a bit of an oddity in our side as every other player has been rubbished by people on this message board. There's time yet though Looks OK without actually achieving much. Ultimately too small. Messi is small. Fabregas is small. Zola is small. Rico Lewis is small. Paul Scholes was Small. They've done/doing ok.

Don't know whether it occurred to you when typing than not a single player you mentioned played in the championship. I've had this same debate a hundred times in various guises, I have a preference for larger deep lying midfielders particularly at this level but in general I'd prefer a good big DM to a good small DM. Obviously Seko might end up further up the pitch like those you mention but that would depend on the other element of actually achieving much beyond looking quite tidy and composed.

If you opt to have the "Mean" upgrade installed, then being small isn't such a handicap. Especially if you are quick with it. A dwarf "little person" for example, can be at just the right height to easily deliver a vicious punch to the bollocks. I hated playing against ankle-biters. Always "missing" the ball and kicking you in the ankle/legs/shins.
There have always been the little mean Chihuahua-types in football. You guys can cite numerous examples in the English leagues. Good example I've seen recently in Ligue MX is Chicharito: Getting older/slower now so he can't run away from opposing players. He's developed a habit where his elbow accidentally collides with opposing players throats to create "separation" in order to get off a shot, especially AND the officials seem to never see it. (He's gotten good at it) He's also a mean little bastard on defense. Doing what he can to stay in the game, good on him. Very nice guy off pitch, but often turns into "Chuckie" during matches and gets away with it. The guy in my avatar was no giant and looked what he was able to do as a GK! (But he could literally fly, which helped too) We didn't know it at the time, but he had his angel-wings installed early.
Yet I will say that professional sports are gradually trending towards larger, but more athletic and strong players everywhere. The debate is whether we are at the point where now you have to be larger in order to even get a chance to play. Don't think we're there yet but in a few years...

Scholes was a nasty bastard and would have done well at any level. So would Roy Keane.

There's time yet though I am personally reading up on Japanese atrocities during World War II so I can bring them out in a completely level-headed and absolutely justified insult when he misplaces a pass or receives a booking.

Could you imagine Seko playing as a CB at any level of men’s football? Scholes couldn’t tackle maybe why you think he was nasty virtually every attempt to win the ball was a mistimed foul.

Why would Seko play as a CB, he’s a midfielder. Famously though no centre back is allowed to be 5ft9, there’s only one who plays for Man United and another who won the Ballon d’or in the 2000’s. One of only 3 defenders to win it by the way.

Why would Keane play CB he’s a midfielder? Seko isn’t just short he’s very lightweight . They can be feisty as fuck it doesn’t really cut it for me in those deep lying midfield positions. He’s a tidy composed looking player I’d give him a go as an AM but that would require output which he hasn’t shown in his career.
