A midfielder that is intelligent, composed tenacious and technically sound. Where have you been all of our lives, Tatsuki?

He is quality, looks after the ball, keeps it moving, he was the only player with any real energy last night. He put some decent balls into the box as well, I think with the more games he plays you can see his confidence growing and he is starting to show more sides to his game.

Thought he was assured, composed and reliable last night. Something our other midfielders lack a little.
Philips decent also, Gibson is so dodgy, Rose needs a chance instead of Gibson

Best player on the pitch by a country mile. A very underrated player who is fast becoming one of two players worth their considerable wages !

He did pretty well tonight. My only criticism of Seko is his own self belief. Does the basics well but he has the ability to do more in the way of more forward, penetrative passing and being more expansive. Just needs to have the confidence to do it but I think he'll get that. Definitely looking like a player who will continue to improve for us and suspect he will be a mainstay of our midfield for a long time yet 😊 He needs to tell some fucker he's taking free kicks. Fed up of us wanking them into the wall from promising positions.

He’s a breath of fresh air, committed, intelligent and always available, brave on the ball and in receiving the ball. He demands the ball off the defence and drives us forward.
He’s one of those players that sets a rhythm and sees the whole game around him.

Philips decent also, Gibson is so dodgy, Rose needs a chance instead of Gibson He also showed more aggression and determination to put his body on the line to stop them. My favourite two moments last night were at the corner when he wasn't going to be pushed out of the way by two of their players and a tackle he made late on on the touchline when the Preston player had out muscled Wilmot and Seko came flying in and won the ball.

Excellent again last night in a turgid affair. All good players look like they have time on the ball and he does that every time, compare that to Burger who looks like the fucking thing is on fire when he gets it. For me his best partner in there is Sol.

Essential player!

Hes just what we have needed in that position for a number of years. He passes and MOVES into space - whatathunkit that a player can do that.
Im hoping his confidence is improving with this run of games and he is more vocal. He seems to understand where other players should be moving to as well. He needs to open his gob more and start telling others when to make runs and for him to make longer passes over the top.
When its Gibson and Wilmott making the long passes you know its gonna end up as a goalkick

He's a bit of an oddity in our side as every other player has been rubbished by people on this message board.
There's time yet though

You really are a bit miserable at the moment aren't you? Yes, he's small, and I have said myself we're not physical enough, but he's been a bloody shining light for us. He knits things together and gives us a smidgin of control. I realise that it doesn't suit your mindset and anti-Pelach agenda to look for good news in what is admittedly a mediocre period for us, but let's get to January, bring in Gallagher and Lawal when ready (maybe even Pearson) and make a few adjustments in the window. He has to have that opportunity surely?

He has to have that opportunity surely? I’ve no doubt he’s going to get that time. I don’t have to like what I’m seeing or refrain from commenting. I think there’s more than enough positive comments about a regime that is presiding over a horrific 23% win rate. I’m actually quite flabbergasted that anyone finds it in any way acceptable.

I thought the performance the other night was absolutely terrible and worry about our durability and tenacity. We're easily bullied! I don't really ever want to see Bocat play at left back again but if Stevens is out this weekend, it looks like I'll be disappointed. Cannon up top on his own against a resilient back three or physical back back four is also proven to be flaky. In the short term I'd play Koumas with him and bring Bae into midfield or Moran if he can show us the other night was just a blip. I'm hoping Gallagher and Lawal will give us more power overall but it'll be a while yet. I would pay a great deal for a point from the Burnley game and if that's cowardly then colour me yellow for now. Walters has hung his job on this appointment and we have to be patient and persvere, but Pelach does have to show us he is flexible in his selection and tactics.

I wonder if he will suffer the regular Stoke disease of starting well and looking quality in the first months, followed by 2nd season syndrome.
See:
Wouter Burger Vidigal Ryan Woods etc etc.
