Wilmot and Laurent need to disappear. I've defended Thompson before but him too. We've been close to relegation for a number of seasons and these players have been there throughout. I was berated for saying that JT is piss poor. He’s amongst the worst I’ve seen in the stripes. Thompson has never been good enough but the odd tackle now and then seems to sway people a lot. |

He’s let in a shot that decent goalkeepers save and palmed the ball into the danger area twice. A good goalkeeper prevents at least 2 of those goals. |

The fact Watford have over-powered us does show the problem in Shumacher tactics and style of play.
He wants a lot of small Cundle type players doing pass and move.
Championship games first you need to win the midfield battle. Today we just havent done that at all. Expecting to play around them, but was never gonna work

Unless the team is strengthened in no small measure, it is more likely that we will be hovering around the bottom part rather than the top part of the table. So many players who aren’t good enough at this level. Tchamadeu, Thompson, Tezgel, Wilmot. The whole bench is less than inspiring (I’m assuming Bae will be starting). Let’s see but early signs are not too good
